    So, the steps are:
    1) Backup data you wish to keep, perhaps create a Windows PE file of your current drive in case it messes up later.
    2) Associate your Windows license with your MS account and/or grab your Windows key using Produkey.
    3) Use a USB Flash Drive with at least 4GB of storage on it and install the Windows Media creation tool.
    4) Go into Settings - > Update and Recovery - > Wipe all existing data.
    5) Go into BIOS and enable the USB Flash drive as boot device.
    6) Install Windows to SSD (I had to remove the HDD SATA connector from my motherboard to do this, since it refused to install windows while two drives were present.
    7) Install drivers and re enable HDD.
    8) Ensure that the SSD is the primary boot device in BIOS once install is done.

After successful installation of windows in the new SSD, what will happen to the old windows files in the old hard drive? It will still occupy space right? So how do I identify the old windows files so I can delete it?

Ive been reading about and many people simply say leave it be, as some of the new files in the new windows you got on the ssd may interconnect with some of your older windows files, etcetera. Not my words, but id let it alone.
