Hello, lesbian here. "Femme" is a word used in our culture a lot (specifically butch/futch/femme subculture, which is the largest lesbian/sapphic subculture) so I am familiar with it's pronunciation. It's just "fem." The "me" part is because iirc it originates from French and y'know how they are with unpronounced letters to make it look cooler.
Rip to all the young people who are having this bs shoved in their face everyday, teaching them to scare off any stable person. Glad to see more rational voices continue to pop up. I feel like good communication is common sense with these matters. If I had a partner and she bluntly stated that she wanted to feel like I was obsessed with her, I'd be glad to have a conversation about how I can reasonably service that goal. If she said she wanted me to cover the bill more often, we could discuss and find some sort of compromise.
Yea, but unfortunately common sense isn't so common anymore. What's worse is that normally with relationships we think of men being the only ones who abuse and manipulate, leaving women like this to roam the internet without being exposed. It's kinda disturbing the way people call women like this "empowering" when they're no better than abusive men in relationships.
@@KaysajaThat's the true "dark psychology" fact I guess 🤣 I'm optimistic, so I can't shake the belief that most people really do want to be at peace with themselves and others, and can how to live that out sooner than we expect. I do think we'll societally have to stop making it socially acceptable to give kids very new and addictive technology and quit integrating it into their daily lives/education first.
I hate the idea of "high value man" and like categorizing both women and men, its so weird just putting every single woman or man out there in two brackets, Idk I just dont fw it, W Video
Watched more of the video. Actually pissed. This is going to give people serious issues. These women are traumatizing their potential partners/exes and it'll only suck for the next girl who will actually genuinely love them. They'll be scared of kindness because they'll have been taught it can be taken away. Basically this dark femme advice is just how to be emotionally abusive. And honestly I can't help but think of my girlfriend because she seems very afraid of being treated with kindness and I can't help but worry sometimes that she wasn't treated very well. Anyways actual dark femmes are feminine women who like goth and emo looks. Like me I'm an aspiring goth I absolutely love it and wanna get into it more. It doesn't involve me hurting my girlfriend. I know we said gaslight gatekeep girlboss but ladies it was not meant to be real advice it was a joke
It’s a cyclical issue - the same way the alpha bros are the reaction to their pain, rejection, etc., this dark feminine trend is the counterpart for women. This only gets resolved when both sides have vulnerable and honest conversations about these things.
The dynamic between men and women has only gotten more strained as the gender roles and dynamics have shifted. This topic really deserves a much deeper covering, thanks so much for sharing!
ah, sweet summer child, you haven’t seen enough honest confessions from these podcast bros. they are literally honest about their own sociopathy, that they are not interested in healthy coping techniques, caring for their unique personality, developing empathy... they believe they need power, and it is obvious that they need mental health help these are not people with whom you can have an open dialogue and expect self-awareness from them
The hilarious thing is, the concept of alphas in the animal kingdom (at least in wolves, the most commonly thought of animal when alpha dynamics are brought up) really only refers to/is observed with repetitive evidence in animals living in captivity due to some inability to take care of themselves/survive in the wild. Wild un-captive wolves just live in family units generally. Alpha dynamics are how the wolves cope with the family unit being disrupted, so humans calling themselves alphas is a bit of a hilarious self read. They are essentially broadcasting that they can't take care of themselves effectively unless they roleplay a superiority complex. woops!
@gladiatorinsweats i feel like confidence is a very masculine trait, thats why women like it so much, so i guess being less confident is more feminine, so more attractive to us. Thats my best guess but honestly idk. I also think that fundamentally, guys want to help women. My gf is shy and likes it when i order her food for her, i like doing this because everytime i can make her happy i get happy too, id hate to date some superwoman who could do everything i could, better and never needed my help with anything and instead helped me, that would be emasculating ASF. I should emphasise that not wanting to be emasculated is not the same as insecurity in ones masculinity, women date taller guys because they feel less feminine when they are taller, even in heels, same with guys. Just like girls dont like being taller, we dont like being worse at everything.
Reminder alpha/beta/omega male concept comes from the fandiction site ao3 from a popular porn term of a mpreg fetish. So I dont know whetthese alpha podcast know but its look ridiculous

I'm using my dark femme powers on u ✨️
Thank you for such a wholesome and properly thought out video on such a complex topic
I don’t excuse it but a lot of times it’s bc their fathers or men who were supposed to protect them, hurt them really bad.
Yea that's tru, same with a lot of guys who grow with unhealthy relationships with women, it's messed up
as a man i can confidently tell you that we (generally) find a nervous girl 1000x more attractive than a confident one
There’s nuance here but I do hope men unpack why that is.

Are they seriously saying “Black women are an aesthetic.”?????
I feel like this was argued very well
