Kiko Goat Processing Day The Truth About Goat Meat!

- Опубликовано: 30 июл 2024
- It's Kiko goat processing day. Lets talk about goat meat. I show you all catching the goat and the lamb and taking them in to the processors. Then we get them back and cook up some goat steaks on my grill. Kiko kid goat and lamb.
This man MAKES his food. He appreciates his food. It isn't boxed or prepackaged. He doesn't get it from a store. He GROWS it. CARES for it. SHELTERS it, and then he HARVESTS it. If you can't handle that, I suggest you click off. This is REAL farming. Life gets pretty real when it doesn't come in a nice pre-packaged box.
I agree
With what u said it also means he respects and is truly thankful for the animal
Doesn't even skin his on animals - this is not REAL farming
Exactly!!!!
and he even has no guts to process them... this "man" is a joke and not "real farmer"... and he, actually, wasnt able to "handle" it, if you didnt notice that:))) and, he actually, got his meat "prepackaged" as well... did you even watch the video!!???::))))))))
An AR aimed at the goat on the thumbnail, LMAO! You are really lovin trolling that lady who hates America huh, and I don't blame you a bit.
That AR aimed at the goat is what got me to click on this video lol
thats not funny
Yeah it's pretty damn funny how you great Americans think it is to let people point guns at people HA HA .
1776 Style PATRIOT he didn’t have anything aimed at a goat...there are no sights on that rifle!!

Goat and lamb are great meats. The way you raise your animals is much better then most commercial operations.
Yeah rite
I tried goat meat and oml it tastes a little similar to cow

Glad you liked him! We love goat meat here and typically have 6 annually processed for our own use. Super healthy too! Low in the bad cholesterol and high in the good among other health benefits.
The wife made some ka-bobs out of Oreo the other day...I have not been a lamb fan, but tell ya what, there wasn't any left over. I loved it! Farm raised makes all the difference.
@The gardener I like them best at 180 days old or less. I have however, had a couple of super mean bucks that I had processed at 3 years old (life is too short and too many good bucks out there to put up with a dangerous one). Just need to cook low temps and longer time. The saying is "low and slow".
My wife and I were just talking about the other evening. I think especially during the cold months when not a lot is happening outside, we will be doing a lot more cooking videos for sure.
😀
@no candy i eat lots of sweets. My cholesterol is great. 55 yo female, Native American, walk 2.5 mi 3xwk. Even my A1C is perfect. I'll have to investigate your hypothesis more.
The gardener I love ketchup on mine or my grandma favorite BQ sauce yummy
I love goats just not killing them and eating them. I have them as pets, that's all
I'm not upset that y'all are eating goat, because everyone has their own opinions and they prefer different things, so I do get why you eat goat, but personally I wouldn't.
The dog wagging his tale slow and looking scared like ahhh shit I’m next😂😂😂😂
Lmao.
NOT FUNNY 2 ALL. MONSTER BOY.
savage_gang _1049 I thought she gave a hand after the Taste, saying "More, Dad! Please?" 😄
OMG that would be a terrible episode. This ain't china yo.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing and making great content with every upload!
Love your videos. Keeping it true to the farm and what real life is all about. Reminds me of when we hunt deer, moose, grouse, ect. Thank you.
speaking as a vegetarian of nearly 2 decades: awesome video, we need more backyard raised meat in the world.
^this !!
Won’t happen
You ain’t no damn vegetarian 😂😂 troll
Wait , meat *does not* grows on trees ? 😂😂😌
Sure called squirrel lol
10 likes for meat gardening 😂😂😂
The garden of meat something a murder would like
The plants they eat do
🤦🏻♂️
9:08 Lol "We are gonna be eating some snowflake before too long, then we are gonna be eatin.. some lamb chops" **Transitions a clip of goats into meat in a back of a car**
Just came across your channel while looking for videos on starting a homestead and growing/harvesting our own meat. Awesome work. Looking forward to going through all your videos!
Don’t know how I didn’t come across your videos sooner! Hooked! Love the content 🤙🏼. Greetings from California
The sheep and goat standing there together : I think we’ll going to hogwarts?
Your living the dream brother! I can’t wait to pay off my business loan and my building so we can start working on acquiring some homesteading land! I’m a country boy at heart stuck in the downtown, yankee small town for a few years. Bless you and your family! Keep sharing with us and we will keep watching!
Thank you for taking the time to show us your operation. Nice place, nice work.
Doggo's like "YES WE DID IT!" when you were loading that buck 😂
That looks amazing. Thanks for sharing brother!!
Poor little animals LOL people who whine about you raising your food don’t appreciate fine tasting food a lot better than the meat you buy in the store
As always thank you for sharing your day and be safe on the interstate
may u suffer the same fate.
@@waterbird91 nope
This video is what inspired me to finally do this myself . Tomorrow my son and best friend are doing this for the first time ! Gonna be an awesome day and I cant wait
I saw the video where you and Kevin helped Jason. You are a wonderful person. Thank you for your videos. Peace out from Michigan.
I would like to see how much you got. Can you do a quick run down of cost and time it took to raise them? I know you did with Jessie, but I may have missed it on these.
Also, how many optiins are there to butcher animals? Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I want to learn. Thanks Dutch. You are awesome. God Bless
Still trying to get our place ready for livestock down here in Potawatomi county. My biggest hurdle is if the wife interacts with something it becomes a pet. She says I can trade for one she doesn’t know. I think I just won’t tell her.
It would be interesting to see what all you did get out of the animals. I've never had goat so this was informative for me. Thanks!
Eat more lamb. 50,000 coyotes can’t be wrong.
lorelei sawtelle 😂
I literally laughed out loud! 😂😂
😂
How do farmers eat something that they've named? Doesn't it make it hard to take the animal to slaughter?
@@pamelakogan8530 Probably depends on the person, but when I was a kid it made it harder, growing up it didn't much matter anymore, I just wanted my meat
I feel like I wouldn’t be able to give up the goats because I bond with every animal I see lol
My relatives named their two cows stew and steak so there wasn't any misunderstanding.
Everyone should watch these videos. There is something to learn in everyone I've watched. Not many people can say they do honest work like this anymore. Reminds me of better times. I admire his work ethic.
Love your videos Dutch!!! -Kristy in southern Missouri 😀
How absolutely DELECTABLE looking. I live on the side of a mountain with lots of great forage and this excites me more than ever to get moving on raising goats! Great video :)
Dang bro....the thumbnail is what drew me to your damn video....I was expecting more lol.
If you have time, I'd like to see all the different cuts of meat.
Me too.
@Dutch yeah i would too. I've processed my own deer, rabbit and squirrel. I've eaten goat baked whole. I live in SETx border of Louisiana and that's how they do it here. Cajun country lol.
Count me in as well!
👍
I would like to see it too
You are such a inspiration to me for homesteading
Your thumbnails never fail! Every time I see them I remember why I love this channel.
I Just processed this years Antelope. They call them speed goats for a reason. They taste similar.
@Hello Richard Coelho, How are you doing?
Great job man...doing it right for your family and friends!
I really enjoying watching this channel! Keep up the good work! 👍
Paying for this is as normal as a car mechanic. We all got different lifer and schedules. Looks great!!😄
I love what your doing, me and my family just started our own personal meat farm. I also love the quail idea.
This is a lot more humane, than the meat you get from the supermarkets and also you know what you're eating
So true
I absolutely love watching your videos, as an Australian I like to see how other countries process there animals and what there life style is like and this is the 4 video I've watched from you guys and I'm definitely sticking around to watch more of your videos
Glad to see another homestead in Oklahoma I can watch ❤
Nice video. I love goat meat and grew up on it. If you're interested in other goat dishes, there are a lot of Pakistani dishes which use goat. My personal favourite is a dish my mother used to make called "goat pallau" (or goat pilaf/goat plov). It's a goat and rice dish Another one is called ''aloo gosht." It's a goat and potato curry, eaten with boiled basmati rice, or naan (type of bread) or roti (flatbread).
I had to giggle when you left the slaughterhouse and told them, “I’ll see y’all tomorrow.”
I like goat, but I’ve never had goat steak either. Looks like that needs to change! Enjoyed the vid, as usual. I like that you show all the dirty work. It’s sad that so many kids today have no idea that food comes from anywhere other than a grocery store - or worse yet, a fast food ‘restaurant ‘. 🙂
I love the channel. And Gabby melts your heart..
Lol the dog looked like he was thinking please don’t put me on that plate....
You act like you didn’t believe me! I told you it was good!
Arms Family Homestead do me f*$# mean your happy you b&(@&)@)
I watch you
Love your video
Hey man, goat meat is amazing!! Forget the haters
@Mel Hawk 5 or 7 herb spice likely
I am just curious what the weight difference was between when you dropped them off and picked them up. At least they got to be together.
Yes would love to see all the cuts!
Time for dinner. Great video. It was awesome to see the Dutchman go over a fance
Make some goat birria, its a chopped goat meat, similiar process as the barbacoa.
Dutch you made me so hungry after watching this video, great job and when's the new channel?
i like &love all your videos keep up the great jobs your doing love you all.
Would like to see the cuts you got from the goat and lamb. Also the total weight after process on each. Thanks for this video. Fellow Oklahoman here just starting a homestead. God bless.
Wait a minute your telling me meat don't come from trees jk great job Dutch never ate goat but have ate lamb good stuff
The people getting mad in the comments need to understand that this is a homestead for a reason. How do you think meat is sold in market? It doesn't grow off a tree :/
This man has a family to feed and he's doing it right.
Awesome, I've had both as a stew, very delicious, every beginning of October there's a festival in the tiny town of Concepcion, Texas, and they cook goats and 1st place gets awesome rewards.
Yes could you please show exactly how much meat you got from both goat and lambs. Thank you so much
I have never tried goat but it looks good! Thanks Dutch!
@Hello Porch Farmer, How are you doing?
@@lydiaanderson3312 helloooooo....cousin Lydia! I'm an Anderson too!
I’d be interested in what cuts you get back and the difference between what the processor does and what you get at home processing
@Hello rdnkrfnk, How are you doing?
I love the thumb nail brother and love the video keep it up and keep sharing I just got my first two goats and some meat chickens a few months ago getting ready tondo the same
Just subscribed. Being a Kentucky boy I really appreciate what your doing. Plus I love the bluegrass mountain music during your vids, struck me as different for a flatlander to use those melody’s for his vids!!
@Hello Allen Helton, How are you doing?
When you stepped on the scale, how TALL did it say you were?!?!🤣🤣👍🏻

Keeping It Dutch hahaha no you’re NOT!!!😁

Keeping It Dutch Lol! Chad is so funny!
I would like to see how to process the animals. Step by step.
never been hunting.
I suggest checking out hunting channels for more of that
Scott Rhea has a butchering channel that shows the cuts step by step on lambs if that helps 👍
Try checking out Farmstead Meatstead.
Bearded butcher channel is pretty good for learning how to butcher.
Need to get with you on some for next year! Great video!
Thank you so very much for sharing your video. I have never had goat, but I want to try it. It looks really good. Have a Blessed Week **HUGS & PRAYERS** from Kelly and critters at Piney Haven Homestead.
So I’ve only started watching your channel (due to the attack on your 2nd amendment rights being questioned by a woman telling you to turn your boom sticks ) I still can’t believe people feel they can tell others what they should do in a free country.
I’m so glad to find your channel. We are Christ following born again also, homeschooling, trying to teach our 10 children the same values. Took on chickens 3 years ago & are considering goats or sheep next year.
God bless you and your family and your channel.
I would love to see just how much meat you got out of the goat in particular...
Hello. I just happened upon your channel. Great and unique way of getting some nice meat for your family and friends. I live in the Shawnee Oklahoma area. My oldest son and his wife recently bought a small homestead property with a fixer upper house with barns. They are starting with chickens and they want some goats. Turning them on to your channel.
Dude you are epic. Can’t wait to steal all the secrets when I get my property next spring
It still trips me out seeing then Alive and then in Bags lol but I respect it. You can eat for months but doing this
Aw I was so sad when you left them there lol, I've never had goat or lamb but everyone I know who has had lamb said it was disgusting lol
I will like to see what you got with the Billy goat and lamb
In enjoy your channel very much.
Wish I was able to homestead too.
Thanks,
Judi Sheppard Shaw
I would love to do this with you ! This is so awesome and to have it all done easily. People don’t understand this like I do it’s a process
Great, now I'm hungry and cant find goat anywhere
Dutch....I was hoping to see some jujitsu moves on that goat.
Lmfaoo
Ive got a date for my first 2 pigs to get processed oct 27. Any cuts or anything you might recommend asking for to a first timer like me?? They will be about 250 to 300 pounds I think. Thanks for your service and all these helpful videos.
Butchery is my favorite part so definitely lay it all out so we can see the various cuts!
Gabby don’t know the taste she swollowed it whole! Hahahahaha 😂
Just like my Rottweiler I give him a piece of meat 🥩 or treats & he swallows it whole, dont even chew it! 😂
Vegans are having a heart attack...lol ❤ can't wait to eat that goat.
Why don't we eat the vegans
That thumbnail is just fantastic. Excellent nod to an earlier issue.
How has that freedom stick friend of yours been anyway? I'm guessing pretty quiet, am I right? Doesn't do a whole lot... Just sits there, not going out of it's way to hurt anyone?
Outstanding Jarhead... Keep it up bro.
Great video! That's a lot of quake too!
Yea it's about time for a good old goat stew. My mom allways had one in the fall for all our workers on our farm. I miss her cooking too. GOD bless you and your family brother.
We are just getting ready to embark on a journey of Homesteading.
I have a question for you!
How do you know for sure that the animals you dropped off to be processed are the same animals you got back?
Have to trust them
Easy for me, I'm the only goat man in my county :)
Just got to the part where ur cooking steak and I’m eating steak while watching you cook steak lol
The gardener Haha
Me to kjbkykjhykgkg kgtkggifgigigkgf
When you take them to get processed, do get all of the animal back (hide, inners, heads) or just the meat?
One of the best meals I ever had was at a Mexican restaurant that was called cabrito ... guess what that was 😎
Yup cabrito= goat in spanish
Now I'm hungry again sir :)
I've had 🐐 meat but never ever thought about making 🐐 steak... Amazing
It would be nice to see all the cuts you get from goat and lamb never had goat meat but does look good..
You had me in tears ... and drooling over the steaks!
God bless you and your family
There’s no sights on that blaster bro, fix yourself!
He doesn’t have time
Thanks Dutch! Semper Fi. Can you tell me how much that goat weighed when you dropped him off at the processor?
Sir I admire folks like you, you just got a new subscriber.
That goat steak looked great!👍🏻👍🏻I have never eaten goat before but I'm going to give it a try.
I'll pay you for some of that goat steak how much I've never jade goat meat before
Another enjoyable video. The goat steaks looked real good I've never ate goat I've looked for a restaurant who prepares but I have not found one yet.
Can't wait until I have a chance to grill some goat! Thanks for the video.
