for real fans this is the real amon amarth. i didnt listen to them in like 15 years. that new song has some bolt thrower feeling. but in general this is the good shit and if they would have stayed with that raw death metal sound i would still be a fan,.
@@WLTRMOTTER literally my favorite album by them, the tone is so raw, the songwriting is absolutely brutal and crushing (pun intended ;)) and there literally isn't a weak song on the album!

@@Nekrist218 They gained popularity, they have to make more commercial friendly songs if they want to stay in the game. Basically all bands that are popular now and that used to be heavier now make 'softer' songs. Their material is still okay, ofc not as good as this one but at least its not In Flames level of change (for the worse).
i think it's an inevitability for extreme metal bands who decide to continue on with the band after 10+ years and make it their career. They have no job to fall back on so the only option for them is to commercialize their sound to make a living wage.
By far one of the most underrated metal album.
**u"nderneeth"*
Hammerfest is one of their best tunes. So good.
This one is my favorite in the album.
This is still my favorite Amon Amarth album, can't beat those raw tones. And Fredrik was a beast
miss him the guys is a master of the art.
The Crusher is objectively the best Amon Amarth album. Anyone who thinks otherwise can kick rocks.
@@Jethu262 love this band, love melo-death, love “A Fury Divine”

dammm this album is great
When Amon Amarth had epic, powerful and memorable songs, not like the super commercial stuff they are doing now.
This wouldn't sell great today. They gotta make money somehow.
@@fenrizwolfbroodx5322 wouldn't sell well for 12 years old kids.
yesssss
