Never had that problem with the L1Pro16s. Had it happen with my Maui 28 G3s this past weekend. I just move the drinks off the speaker to the floor. The guests see that and don't do it again. I've also had photographers put their lenses on my subs, and I ask them to move those as well.
Good idea. It does help, but some of the time they will read the sign out loud and still put their drink on it which I just don’t understand. I’ve actually had photographers do that.
I saw the sound couple on RUclips had something made that was slanted and just place on the speaker thus anything placed on the cabinet just falls off on to the person

I think the flat surface on the LDs invites the people to plave drinks vs the Bose handle on top.
It looks fine mate
Thank you!
Good idea
Thanks!

Well so far so good. I used it last weekend and no drinks we set on them 👍🏻
I have two white Chauvet EZPAR 64 that I place on my 44g2s to keep people from putting drinks on the speakers. Seems to be pretty effective for me.
That's a great idea!

Yes, I thought about that but then you risk having it splash onto the sub.
How about dumfux who lean on speakers “I thought it was a pole”
Haven't really had that problem.
