Man this album came to me in a time of necessity. I've been away from the church for about 5 years in the beginning of 2017 and returning to it was a blessing, because theses last years were rough. I should have finished with my Law studies if wasn't for my deep depression these last two years. I had this invitation to a kind of religious camp. I did everything to try not to go, but for some reason I decided to give it a try hours before going and I packed my bags. There I had a renewal of what I see as faith and my approach to God and the church. My life was a hundred in a few months. I've been dealing with depression for almost a year now, and there's been eight months of rehab for cocaine use. There I also had the opportunity to meet a person in a situation very similar to mine. She has been very important in my journey in search of perseverance and love. Today I try everything to help her and stay strong with each other. This last month has been really hard to me because of Mother's Days that was close to my birthday, but at the same time it was the same day that my Grandmother had passed away. And last week I had the terrible notice that my Mom has a tumor in her head. The doctors said that it is really hard to operate, and the chances of her having a stroke are great, which made my world fall apart all over again. It has been dark days, but today I found out that Switchfoot (one of my favorite bands of all time) had launched a new album some years ago. Never heard of it since I stopped listening to it after Vice Verses. This made my day and I'm here to say: thank you for making me feel a little better of my situation. I will not give up. Everything will be fine in the end. Love God, family and my friends are what make me feel unbeatable even I'm down the ground. Love you guys. Greetings from Brazil.

He is the most AMAZING man, and I am still very very much in love with him ❤️ I hold near to my heart the day that we'll be together. And He gave us these: faith, hope, and love. Love being the greatest of these. Without love, we are not of Him because He is the pure essence of love. I remember this song very well because during awakening fest (when that was around) it would always rain. It just so happens that switchfoot was preforming. It started to rain harder and our worship grew louder. At one point the lead singer goes crowd surfing and he just so happened to be above me. Everyone wanted to hold him, so I go crushed by everyone. By some chance he took my hat (fedora) . Went back on stage to finish the song and he tipped my hat to everyone and then gave my hat back to me. Really cool I will never forget!

I didnt discover Switchfoot until a couple of years ago and when you know people who know lots of tunes and every lyric in them who havent discovered them either it does suprize you because I can hear every lyric in their songs and appreciate their meaning to, I know music is kind of personal but more people need to hear this song. because Love alone is worth the fight.

And He gave us these: faith, hope, and love. Love being the greatest of these. Without love, we are not of Him because He is the pure essence of love. I think it would be cool to feel the pure essence of love in the flesh for a day but it would probably lead to a rather depressed remaining time here. One day we who believe will have that joy!!!!

Thank you Switch Foot.... for saving my life...... This song is so inspiring..... was homeless/jobless and HOPELESS in 2014.... this song healed my anxiety when I watched the video.... Today I'm traveling..... I've spent 5 months in Hawaii(working and surfing) 4 months in Malaysia, 1 month in Bali(surfing) , I month in Koh Tao, Thailand(SCUBA certs/diving)... as of today I've returned to Malaysia.... been here for 8 months.... tomorrow I'm heading back to Koh Tao to do my "Dive Master" course and hopefully my "Certified PADI/SSI SCUBA Instructor course......... as you can see, this song and video has had a huge impact on my life.... So THANK YOU PS: I'm a US citizen and never in my life owned a passport before hearing your song..... but it's not about the traveling..... The inspiration from the message.... the title itself helped save my life when i discovered it in my darkest hours.... LOVE!

Cinematography in this film was ridiculously good. Not just saying it, either!
I remember this song very well because during awakening fest (when that was around) it would always rain. It just so happens that switchfoot was preforming. It started to rain harder and our worship grew louder. At one point the lead singer goes crowd surfing and he just so happened to be above me. Everyone wanted to hold him, so I go crushed by everyone. By some chance he took my hat (fedora) . Went back on stage to finish the song and he tipped my hat to everyone and then gave my hat back to me. Really cool I will never forget!
