why would Paul need tire change before, you need to keep a car for longer than 3 months to experience it!! but getting into drifting this will soon be the norm.
Since you are in a RHD Mercedes, the car is programmed to steer ever so slightly to the left, if you let go of the wheel. This is a safety feature put in place to help reduce the chance of a head on impact with a car from the opposing traffic lane.

Daniel Sadjadian Nope, it's the crown in the road that slightly pulls you towards the verge. If you drive a car on a runway, it does not pull to the left. This is a myth. Both front wheels have the same toe. If one had more than the other to pull in a certain way, tire wear would be a nightmare, hence why it's a bad sign if tire wear on the same axle is different.
Ah right I see. That is what a Mercedes salesman told me once at my local dealership.

This is a myth. A car should drive completely straight and true if the wheel is let go on a completely flat surface and it's tracking and alignment is set up correctly. As others have mention the camber on the road naturally pulls the car towards to edge which is probably what you are thinking of.

My C63S has Michelin Pilots from new , but the vagueness of the steering is certainly not in the same league as my previous M3. The Tyre scrub on anything near half lock is hilarious, but it is also damaging the rims . Seeing Mercedes about that as the tyre walls collapse under full lock . Pressures are about 4PSI more in the fronts.. Love the car apart from the steering !!
Also confused why you didn't go for PS4s it's the updated tyre also the mpss are pretty shocking in the wet and cold as we pointed out in our last vid

Michelin don't make the PS4S in all the sizes they currently do in the PSS. This is probably why.
Chris Hyman yes MPS4S is 19" and upward so not an issue for him
7:40 all that rain on the inside of the doors is getting to me, I only have an 8 year old Mazda but I always have to wipe the rain from the inside if it gets in

Why didn't you go with pilot sport 4s?
it doesn't matter what kind of car or how fast or how much horsepower. the only part of the car that touches the road is the tires. they should always be properly aligned, balanced and in good shape. especially the kind of speeds you do it will make a world of difference.

If it makes you feel any better it has been unseasonably warm in Australia (Melbourne specifically) so something funk is going on with the weather. It's supposed to be getting colder over here! ha ha
Dude all tyre shops do that as standard, It's a standard fitment mate. Balanced and alighned.
Just so you know for the future. The car steering to the left could off been because of number of reasons. Car could be crashed, could be that some parts were changed but noone did the alignment afterwards, it could also be that it was faulty from the factory.
We had the hottest april and start of may of all time in Switzerland:)
Great channel! But you should have put on Michelin Pilot 4S's. The newer, much superior tire. Love your car though!
Had Bridgestones on my 370z and they were awful, couldn't get traction and very twitchy on corners. Upgraded to Michelin PS4s' and it Hooks instantly when launching and has insane grip on corners.
Paul.... it's not so much the tyres that have sorted your handling, more so the alignment! If you want maximum grip tyres you should try track tyres like the Toyo R888

I’m still amazed how less car youtubers know of cars. They know how many hp it has and the 0 to 60 time and that’s it.
Not snubbing DGT but I can get most of that done at my local Kwik Fit.
DGT is where it's at....... can just go to my local Tyre Pros/Kwik Fit a few hundred yards away that do the exact same stuff using the same Hunter equipment.

Your car used to pull to the left because the tracking and wheel alignment was out. That's what DGT were doing once the new tyres were on

Claims to be a car enthusiast, yet does not understand chassis setup, does not understand tyres, is not able to interpret the feedback from the car. Of course the car will feel smoother with new tyres, they've got more tread depth than your old tyres. The less tactile steering is also because there is more deflection of the taller tread of new tyres, compared to the shorter tread of your older tyres.
Also, are the new PSS bespoke to the C63 i.e. has a Mercedes homologation? Because AMG would have had specific tyres engineered for the chassis of the C63, which are completely different to an off-the-shelf tyre of the same model. By putting a tyre that has not been specifically created for the C63, the chassis setup will be suboptimal, unless the chassis is retuned. Yes, the PSS will have more grip, but grip is not the only measure of how good the tyre is.

As long as you own cars or even you features cars that the majority of the viewers can be associated with, such as Mercedes, Bmw, Porsche or Audi's then the prosperity of your channel will be guaranteed. As far as me is concerned I enjoy more a road trip with a car mentioned above than with a supercar knowing that I won't be able to afford a car like this, so why bother and lose my time with a video like this. Random thoughts from a petrolhead.
