Probably 3-5 minutes, you will know if it's melted the sugar, it will look bubbly and you can check it with your fingers, dip your finger to the egg whites sugar mixtures and rub it with your two fingers if you don't feel grainy and it's smooth textures then it's ready, I am not sure about powdered Sugar I never try it...

Hello thank you for watching, I am not sure what type of Margarine you have, because other country for example my country Philippines our margarine has a strong taste of Margarine and more in yellow color, so if you use this type of margarine you will have the taste of the margarine and your buttercream will have yellowish in color, maybe you can add shortening to your existing cream you can try adding 2 tbsp., for this recipe you can add 1 tbsp. Pure Vanilla if you have clear vanilla it's better so you will not get a darker color to your buttercream... In my video I am using margarine, but here in U.S where I live right now, the margarine it's almost the same like butter, doesn't have a strong taste of Margarine and light yellow color, so when I use it for Swiss Meringue buttercream and Add flavorings to it, you will not taste the margarine...

Bcz whenever I decorate my cakes I store it in my fridge n also after i keep it in room temperature it starts to condensate. N my fellow bakers said not to store in refrigerator just store it in counter but I’m afraid that will melt if I store it in counter. Please let me know what’s the best option.

How many minutes approx you have the egg whites on the" bain Marie"? What if you use powdered (icing) sugar ? Thanks
