- The Dodgers have been to the playoffs in 7 of 10 times this decade, tied with the Yankees for most playoff appearances in the 2010’s. But every year, the Dodgers continually find a way to blow it when it all counts. Here’s a full compilation of their chokes.
All footage is owned by MLB and their respective owners. I am a fan who makes baseball videos for other fans.

@Don1103 even if they did, who ever was going to be the winner had the smallest sample size of games to be tested since 1880. There hasnt been a shorter MLB season in history. MLB competition was designed for long seasons thus why we have 5-6 man rotations, relief pitchers and a minor league which was canceled. Teams play very different in 60 games compared to 162. It diminishes the value of the WS. Also the MLB was undecided on whether the season would start or not. Teams werent even sure if there would be a season. 60-game season shook out too quickly "to determine which teams are the best" (the under-.500 Astros made it as far as the ALCS), but pandemic-adjusted changes to the game, like the universal DH rule and extra-inning base runners, throw off numbers across the board. No one can logically say 60 games is enough to determine the best.
You know why NBA champions dont have an asterisk? Regular season in the NBA is 82 games. In 2020, teams played 70-73. Thats 89% of games. 2020 MLB season 60 games were played. Thats 37% of 161 games. 89% of games is enough to determine whos the best. 37% is a pathetic sample size and Dodger fans pretty pathetic claiming this ring without acknowledging it was played on a nothing sample size. If my team won it I wouldnt claim it. Season should of been canceled if they couldnt play 70% of the season. It wasnt even 50%. 37% of games were played. Not shocking Dodger fans would be that desperate after being losers since 1988 and having a terrible history as the Brooklyn Dodgers losing majority of their world series.
Man it hurts to see all those good teams and players only get one ring. And whether we like it or not, it will always have an asterisk beside it. They need a ring with a full season and postseason played

What is it about Chokshaw in the postseason? During the regular season he dominates teams and batters like almost no one else ever has but during the postseason against the same teams and hitters his ERA is nearly double over the regular season and he has a losing record in the postseason but goes 21-3 in the regular season. And he does it year after year after year and the only explanation is he's scared sh!tless and can't handle the bright lights of October. I'm a diehard Dodgers fan born and raised in LA. I always will be. But i will say the pain sucks i was born in 1992 and it took me almost my whole childhood and teen years and everything to witness a WS victory in 2020. Although it was great and I was happy just doesn't feel the same as the big losses especially to Houston, Boston and losing the 2019 NLDS hurt big time for me but honestly Nationals were very good. I'll be completely honest though i know my team spends loads of money and we cant get it done in October but through all the pain i stick with my team. Im sure everyone does the same thing, look at Dallas Cowboys fans for NFL i mean i feel the pain I definitely get it. Ya know what's funny is most of my family are all Yankees fans born in NY and Brooklyn and they never say anything bad to me ever i never will understand all the hate from Yankees fans i know when we used to be Brooklyn Dodgers their was obviously a rivalry but it doesn't exist anymore... I’m a Dodger fan. The only time a team chokes is when they lose to a team they were better than. That was 2017 when The Astros cheated so that wasn’t a choke. In 2022 The Dodgers choked. Most of those other years the Dodgers lost to the eventual World Series champions which isn’t choking IMO.
I’m a Nationals fan. In 2019, you choked it. Hard. Roberts lost that one for you. Once you had Kershaw in to start the 8th, literally everyone knew it was gonna happen. And keeping the closer out for two innings and loading the bases was a death sentence.
