That 15-1 season pissed me off and I'm a cowboys fan. The 2011 packers literally could have won every game that year. They were that talented. Not to mention the giants had no business making the playoffs to begin with and they somehow still came to packers home field and won. I'm a Packer fan since 2012. The 2014 NFCC game taught me something. It's never over til the game is over. The 2020 NFCC game taught me to get used to the Packers losing in the playoffs. I don't get my hopes up in the playoffs anymore after that loss. The Packers are a Great Regular team, just not in the playoffs

At least for myself, really experiencing heartbreak, means the team was doing well enough to have hopes and dreams of going to/winning the Super Bowl. Years like 99, 05, 08, 17, 18, when you're teams clearly not doing well, its much easier to accept, and it usually doesn't take long. With someones utter elation, comes someone elses devestation, thats the balance. I wouldn't trade those chances away for anything. We can always wish for better outcomes but, thats what makes a run so much sweeter.

Sometimes when youre down in the points with limited time left you have to take risks to make scores because youve got nothing left to lose aside from your precious stats. Sometimes you just gotta throw to the covered man instead of at the ground. Thats the very reason aaron rodges is 7-8 in the post season and why he loses most games where GB is down in points at the start of the 4th.

let me expand this further too in regards to what i mean so sure aaron could do 4 safe short throws but it takes up time for that 1 touch down or he can go big risk and throw a hail mary to save time which he needs when hes down in a 4th so his defense can hopefully stop or stop the team during next possession and then repeat the process where he goes for the next hail mary to make up for the score deficit in the limited time he has. Understand what i mean now by hes risk averse and doing safe throws? Sure he'll lob deep throws but not like you saw tom brady try several time back to back even to manned coverage receivers.

At least for myself, really experiencing heartbreak, means the team was doing well enough to have hopes and dreams of going to/winning the Super Bowl. Years like 99, 05, 08, 17, 18, when you're teams clearly not doing well, its much easier to accept, and it usually doesn't take long. With someones utter elation, comes someone elses devestation, thats the balance. I wouldn't trade those chances away for anything. We can always wish for better outcomes but, thats what makes a run so much sweeter.
