I plan on filling my tank this week while I wait for the bottle to arrive, (I have 2 black tanks one shows completely full, the other about 1/2 full.) Then after almost a week dumping that tank and refilling and adding the product. From there on I'll be on vacation for about 10 days before I come back to camp. Will this be ok? any worries for that length of time?

That sounds like a good plan to me! There is no amount of time which is too long for Restore-It to be in the tank. 10 days or more is an excellent timeframe for the product to be in the tank. Best of luck to you with getting your sensors working again! Remember, that we stand by our product so if you need another bottle to finish one or the other tanks just reach out to our customer support team!

How does this work in a vacu flush toilet system?

Hello! Most vacuum/ macerator toilets still empty into a black water holding tank that have the same style sensors that most RVs come equipped with but often have an additional float sensor wired to the toilet that will keep the toilet from flushing because if the float switch it in the closed position, even if you know the tank is empty then the toilet will not flush. Restore-It can still help in this situation. Often, the toilet will allow you to flush it once upon dumping the tank. So if you can get your RV to a dump station and there is no line, you can dump the tank. Add a full bottle of Restore-It to the toilet bowl and then you should be able to refill the holding tank while holding the flush pedal down and adding water to the bowl from either a garden hose or from a shower sprayer. Give it plenty of time (3-5 days) and then dump the tank. This often breaks down any waste or paper that may have gotten stuck on the float and will allow you to flush to the toilet again normally. It may take a few tries but we stand by our product so if necessary, contact our customer support and we will get you another bottle on us. If the problem continues, then it may be time to have a certified RV tech take a look because there are ways to by pass the float switches on vacuum style RV toilets. I hope this helps! Happy camping!
