    These videos are so educational. I love them. Thank you for teaching me about the plastic wrap. I used to use baking paper and that didn't always work out well. I hope you can make a video about worbla and maybe how you can combine worbla with foam. I would love to see that!!

      That’s a great video idea I’ve personally never used worbla ( just a little bit from my friend) and never heard of combining it with foam so that’s pretty neat

    Wow, that's a great post with so much information! I feel more confident to try foam clay modelling now. Thank you for sharing, especially the five uses of foam clay; I hadn't thought beyond sculpting.

    Can you coat foam clay with like a clear urethane or something that will protect it from the outside elements?

    Great video! Quick question: How do i attach the dried silicone molded foam clay to the surface of my eva foam? Just put water on the back of the molded clay and the eva foam area where im attaching and press very very lightly down? Or do i use contact cement to attach it? Thanks!!

    I want to use some foamclay as filler buuuut I'm really impatient. Would it work to use a hairdryer on low heat to speed up the drying process? Or is that a bad idea 🤡

    My problem with foamclay is that even tho I sand it the surface shine through plasti dip. Do i need to apply more layer of plasti dip to unify the surface with eva foam?

    Could I use this foam clay over top xps foam and floral craft foam ?

  • @newageoutlaw73

    Is there a way to stop shrinkage?

    • @cosplayshopyt
      @cosplayshopyt  6 месяцев назад +2

      not really, all in all shrinkage isnt that bad. best thing to do is also add a core of for example tinfoil so that it can't collapse.

    Thank you, this video makes me want to try it! I'm thinking of using it for sculpting. Can you also use a metal or cardboard base inside the clay, or wrap it around an iron wire or something similar? Or would it crack if I tried that?

    • @cosplayshopyt
      @cosplayshopyt  5 месяцев назад +1

      jup! the iron wire technique is how people make for example antlers with it! -SkyShark

    Is the foam water resistant, once dried out?

    • @cosplayshopyt
      @cosplayshopyt  4 месяца назад

      Not really, it will probably get mushy. However when you painted it and added a sealer it sure is! -SkyShark
