I LOVE foam clay ! I originally started using it to make my kid obscure figures/toys that were impossible to find or expensive which it’s perfect for because if you use a wire base and work very thinly then it still has minimal movement like bending the arms ect ! And if it’s breaks super glue works crazy good to fix it .. I’ve seen multiple youtubers (not Jazza obviously) bag it saying it’s useless , you can only do very simple child like stuff with it but it’s just not true ! Realistic is very ultra hard yes but I have made some awesome very detailed models using this clay you just have to go slow and work in very thin layers and add tiny bit by bit while drying in between ! If you try to make the whole piece in one go then yes it will be cartoony and simple . Wire and tin foil are your best friends with foam clay and you should keep the unused clay covered at all times it starts to dry crazy quick ! Instead of carving out details which is super difficult with this clay you just build up your details by adding bit by bit ❤
I had to take a screenshot of your post, since it has so much useful information I just know Ill need later. I got more of this stuff than anyone should, so thank you for all the tips :)
You can do so much with this clay! I love using it for miniature food, it has the perfect texture for bread especially. You can shade the clay with both watercolors and acrylic to get realistic looking results.
@@janemiettinen5176 that’s awesome I hope it helps !! No amount of clay is too much clay you’ll get through it ! I’m forever buying more 😂 just don’t get disheartened ! I recently got into foam clay too! I've been having a lot of fun playing around with it. They're great for unicorn horns and trying to get gradients going is really interesting. I've been brushing on glitter and mica powder while it's still wet. And it's so easy to push it into molds for really pretty designs. Great video! Foam clay is fantastic. I use it for miniature basing and dioramas, it is especially great when using texture rollers. It doesn't stick to everything as much as what milliput or green stuff does.

Shocked that not a lot of people have heard of this, I use model magic which is a foam clay and it’s come in handy for props and cosplays where stuff will be knocked around. Super easy to use and dries semi-squishy so it’s a really useful medium to have :)
Foam clay is so cool I found it last year on lockdown and got really into it… The only issue is it doesn’t dry right, ever. So everything I made was a total waste and by the time I came back to those little packages of foam they had also dehydrated so it’s basically a one use toy
I really enjoyed watching this video! I too, have been thinking about using foam clay. I am designing a project that will have a life-size human form and want to keep it lightweight so I’m considering using sheets of foam with foam clay. I guess working in layers would be best. Foam sheets and foam clay, for drapery, seems to be ideal. I would also like to see a castle competition between Jaza and other creators complete with furniture and items like fireplaces and lighting. That would be really cool!

I try it with the grey one, it works with the black and white too. For the colors IDK, I see cosplayers do it with the black and white, but they paint it after so they dont use colors 🤷🏻♀️ and I did it with the grey one.
I used foam clay to make my adam and barbra heads from beetlejuice. Its such and amazing material to work with. When it drys you can actually use sand paper to smooth out areas as well. Really wish i could post photos cause they came out amazing!
Imagine if there was just a child who wanted foam clay to play with and just saw jazza walking away with it all 😂
Hi
i am 100% convinced it is never dull working with/near jazza...also i would totally join in the costume shenanigans.
I want to eat it
OMG Dave’s reaction after Jazza left the room was exactly what I thought it would be 😂
This is cool! I miss the old jazza though, it’s been a lot of crafts and sculptures… i miss the character design sessions and simple animations lol, still love you jazza and i watch everything you make. Just missing some nostalgic jazza
but if it’s what you enjoy doing then do it buddy, we support♥️
We can always go back to earlier vids and simpler times :)
Playing your videos on a low day always encourages smiles and positivity. Thanks Jazza. Keep up the good work!!!!
1. Best way to do a sponsorship
2. They better have paid you well
3. Now I want foam clay
Shocked that not a lot of people have heard of this, I use model magic which is a foam clay and it’s come in handy for props and cosplays where stuff will be knocked around. Super easy to use and dries semi-squishy so it’s a really useful medium to have :)
Somewhere, Shad is screaming "MACHICOLATIONS!"
You always amaze me with the projects you make!! This castle turned out awesome I love it!!
This would make an awesome dollhouse for kids! So fun!
The reference to IT Crowd made my whole day!! That was awesome!!
@14:09 “I shall proceed to have my royal boink” 😂
Foam clay is so cool I found it last year on lockdown and got really into it… The only issue is it doesn’t dry right, ever. So everything I made was a total waste and by the time I came back to those little packages of foam they had also dehydrated so it’s basically a one use toy
I would recommend putting opened packs in a ziplock bag, then the baggy in a tupperware. Thats how I store it and it seems to work 🤷♀️
4:20 have a royal boink was a hilarious bit. Thank you for the chuckle
I love foam clay! I use it to make miniature food much like people do so with polymer clay. I use watercolor to shade it but acrylics work well too
I really love his art work and my son loves when he does stuff with Pokémon. I love how random he can be when dressing up ect.
The castle honestly looks dope! I love these models, I bet that would be a great set for a claymation!
@Text me on telegram at Jazza_Studios *feels suspicious*!!
That would be really cool!
thank you jazza for inspiring me to do more art than I have ever done you are my top number one you tuber and the only one I watch I have never seen anyone as good as you all of your videos are a variety of different types of art
