Section 1 of the Wainwright Coast to Coast, St Bees to Ennerdale Bridge.
If you're wondering why there is no follow-up to this video, it's because I injured my knee and ankle, first on the descent from Dent and then again the following day. I also have bruising on my toes, so I'll have to come back and attempt this again! APOLOGIES!
It was a pleasurable walk. The first section has its ups and downs, and I don't recommend tackling Dent in lashing wind and rain! Its an absolute BOG FEST up top!

If you decide to try again and want dropping back at Ennerdale Bridge, give me a shout and I can take you from Whitehaven to EB. Born in bred in Chap so know Sheffield (will be back down in a couple of weeks). If you think Dent was muddy, you're not ready for the moors behind The 9 Standards (I went thigh deep in a bog when I walked the route in Sep 22).

Legend Rich, appreciate it. I'm from near Hillsborough so not too far from Chapel. Haha, the nine standards section was playing on my mind a bit. I'd even taken two bread bags for when I'd whacked the dry socks on. I'll definitely be back up there at some point. I've got Scafell Pike, Great Gable, and Pillar coming up in June with a couple of the lads, so looking forward to that.
