Dead ass that's what it's like being a new parent and a parent with tiny ones. Sleep and can't make sentences. Love how honest you are
Get a notebook and go through each room and mark down everything. It’s hard to get them to fix things later! Also use post its and mark each spot where the location is of what needs to be done like touch ups, door handles, hardware check all the shelves and all the closets to make sure everything is there. Look on the internet and you should find a good check off list! Make sure all boxes are color coded and numbered for what room they go in. Pack a suit case for each person like you’re going out of town for a week. This way you won’t be digging looking for what you need! I swear you will be so happy to have that suit cases field!
Color coat the rooms with different color tape on each box and give each room a number. Then,
write exactly what’s in each box, or you will make yourself crazy digging for things your really needs!
You will also need to lack one for the new baby too! You never know when she will come. So make a hospital bag and. Small suitcase at home with wipes diapers swaddles and lots of onesies blankets even momma bathroom basket ready too!!!

It’s “not official” when there’s issues with financing, like if your lender didn’t agree with the terms and didn’t supply the funds during escrow basically but that’s extra great it’s a new build!! Definitely get excited! Under contract is pretty solid, especially with it being new construction since the inspection process is going to pass and if it doesn't they gotta make all the fixes to pass it and you aren't dealing with another homeowner that could change their mind or back out. Yayyyy!!! Welcome to being a homeowner, so so happy for you guys!! Home owning is definitely a huge plus but can have its downsides as well but for the most part it’s definitely nice to be able to do whatever you want with your home, just not so fun when things go wrong and you have to pay to have them fixed instead of calling the landlord to fix it and not have to pay for anything but rent. But I still think home owning is much better than renting for sure mainly because I don’t feel like I’m just throwing my money away by renting.
Definitely watching this at work. Definitely cracking up at Savannah. TOO GOOD!!

Yes you can be excited because once they accept your offer The only thing really that would hinder you from closing is if something went wrong with the inspection or if you guys backed out of the offer or if they backed out of the offer and in that case one could pursue legal action.
