Thank you so much! I really enjoyed my visit to Capri. It is definitely something anybody can do in one day. I went when only 1 ferry was running. There are more now so there is probably more flexibility on the time to get there and back.
I really enjoyed your video. There is a tone of capri vlogs out there but yours stands out by its realness. It’s very informative and non pretentious 😀
@@JoyousSerendipity we did all the things you did as well as a 1 hour boat ride around the island. It was crowded at Marina Grande and the Piazza. But not too much at Mount Solaro and the Augustus Gardens. The Granite was so refreshing in the heat 😆
@@ChetThaker I so glad to hear that!! I came back to Positano last year with my husband but we had no time to visit! I will return for sure so we can get the Capri spritz!! Thank you so much for watching!
I love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing and especially for including all of the prices of things like the taxi and ferry rides. It helps so much when doing trip research to know prices of these kinds of things along with meals, drinks, and what some of the prices of souvenirs are. Thank you again for your lovely videos!
You are so welcome! I am so pleased you enjoyed the video and found value in it. I will be sure to include those information in future videos. Thank you for stopping by
Extremely detailed video. So so so helpful. My husband and I are trying to spend 6 hours in Capri as well. We hope our day there goes as well as yours did ☺️
Delightful video! May I ask, how do you know which boat is yours on the return trip? I have tickets already and don't see a dock or boat designation of any kind. You mentioned to pay attention to the dock you are dropped off at, but I wonder if that will remain the same at the end of the day. Thank you!
Yay! Thank you. It is so hard to pick between the two. For me Capri was good enough for one day. If you really only need to see some sites in each place and have a meal or two, then I would choose Capri. I feel that Positano is best visited for more than a day:-)
Yay, I am excited for you. I am not sure about the credit cards with the taxi. I will assume they do. I don't even remember if I paid in cash or card either. So sorry about this.
Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for my one day visit to Capri. I’m going with a group from Rome to Capri, THEN take a motorboat to the blue grotto, then back to marina grande. The itinerary states we take the funicular right away so I’m hoping we can go backwards from what you did. Because I’d the grotto I don’t think we’ll have time to do the chairlift though🥺
Hi there. I went in September. At the time, I didn’t have to but you can do so and I would highly recommend it. At the time I went, the country was still not fully opened at the time. I hope this helps
Thank you very much for sharing the trip plan , Praise God we will travel to capri next week. I will just follow your plan. Addition to that we are planning to cover blue grotto as well . That will be in the morning. Any advice or suggestions, please comment 🤝
Thank you for stopping by. Wishing you lots of fun in Capri and safe travels. I did not go on the Blue Grotto tour but as soon as you get to the dock in Capri there are several boat tours at the end of the walkway towards the Funiculare. You may ask about it there. I hope to visit it the next time I come. Buon viaggio!
We came back safely after 8 days trip to Italy. Thank God. Great trip.. Long journeys capri island , Naples , Amalfi cost, Rome and surroundings, Florence and Pisa, Milan , Venice and finished at Padua basilica. Weather was amazing All went well 😊
Nice video! My family and I are planning to go there next year can you suggest a cheapest accomodations in positano please and best way to get there from Venice thanks
Thank you. Positano is expensive especially in the peak season in the summer. I stayed up in Montepertusso. Watch my Montepertusso video to see where it is. I stayed in a modest BnB above Positano. As for getting there from Venice, you can take the train to Naples then either a private transfer from there (recommend this way) or take a train to Sorrento then on a bus to Positano. I shared my trip there in two earlier videos. Please feel free to ask and will be happy to help as best as I know. Take care.
Hi Ms Joy, I have a question for your Capri trip. Can we take a funicular from Capri to Sorrento? We are staying at Sorrento? I booked a ferry going to Capri but didn’t book a return yet. Thanks
Thank you for stopping by:-). Unfortunately, there is no funicular between Capri and Sorrento. Since Capri is an island, it may only be accessed by boat/ferry. You can purchase a return ticket upon your arrival in Capri. There are specific times that they travel from Capri so you can check the latest time. When I went, there were only 2 return trips to Positano. I took the earlier one just to make sure I don't miss it as I was leaving the next day. Have fun!!! You will love Capri!
Just started watching your videos .. Love them and every thing about Positano .. It is just sad that people would etch their initials into living plants like that .. I am surprised it is allowed !
Thank you so much for stopping by. I agree about the succulents. It is sad. I am not sure if it is allowed outrightly but just have had no one coral them so they are not easily accessible.
Best capri video so far I have seen. A blind person can follow this. Many thanks
Thank you so much!! It is a beautiful place.
Wonderful video! Thank you for the very specific tips. Wow, you packed in more in one day than I think I will be able to, but you inspire me!

I really love your Positano/Capri videos and I am happy I found you. I am traveling soon to the Amalfi Coast and will follow your tips for sure.

Staying three nights here in June and found the detail in this video very helpful
I am so glad it did! I wished I stayed longer but still got to see the island in a few hours! Enjoy your trip!

Another fabulous job! We did not make it to Capri. But I wish we had! So pretty. And those gardens!
I hope you make it to Capri next time. I will stay there for at least overnight myself if I make it there again. 💕
Very beautiful and gorgeous view. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, yes, I believe it may be so. It probably will depend on which dock is open when they arrive.
Nice video!!!! For a day trip: Positano or Capri? Your favorite :)

Thank you for stopping by. I went in September. I heard May is a great month to visit! Have fun!
We are going to be there soon. Your video helped me understand how everything. So helpful Can you tell me if the open taxi takes credit cards

Taxi can accompany 4 adults and 2 child? Or we need to take 2 cabs
I don’t think you will fit in one taxi unless you get a van. Maliliit ang mga taxi sa Italy:-(
