I served in South Africa in the early 70s. At that time there was only one mission on the continent. It was amazing. I am so grateful for that wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing your story!

It's inspiring to witness Shane Baldwin's redemption journey; his resilience serves as a beacon of hope. As a mentor, he not only overcame his own challenges but also positively impacts the lives of those he guides.

Shane, my son's name is also named Shane. You recommended your favorite books I wanted to recommend a book for you and your wife: the book is called nutrition and cycles of fertility by Marilyn Shannon. I shouldn't have been able to have children but the Lord let me to that particular book and as a result I ended up having six children and it's not predicated by age. Your talk was very impactful and I sent it to my son Shane because I thought it would be important for he to learn some of the lessons that you learned through your experiences, There was a t.v series called Twice in a life time.

Isn't this the guy that was on Come back podcast? Ashley found out some things about him and she pulled it.

Do you know why she pulled it……?…..

I don’t believe the full story was included. He didn’t go to prison for simply making false statements. He didn’t mention assaulting a jail officer or about his prior criminal charges in the 2000s. I wouldn’t say this is transparency.

I wouldnt go as far as you did making going to prison as being something to emulate which certainly sounded that way to me. Some of those great men were incarcerated falsely. Just saying. Don’t get me wrong. I think Shane’s story is amazing.
