  • What an incredible story of the power of faith and forgiveness!
When Shelly Edwards Jorgensen was 15, her father murdered her mother and started their house on fire to cover it up. At this exact same time, Heavenly Father placed a 'miracle friend' directly into her path that would alter the course of her life forever.
Then, several years later as an adult in her 30's, God intervened again, miraculously healing Shelly of a 7-year debilitating illness.

Thank you for sharing your story. I know that the Savior bled from ever pore so we won’t have to. However we like him need to have challenges and struggles so we like him can succor others and have compassion and love and help others through their struggles

Thank you for sharing this, Shelly, my online, and real friend! Thank you to the hosts for this wonderful podcast. I have a horrific story, a triple tragedy (my daughter and granddaughters were murdered by her husband/their father) 6+ years ago, but I am still living in such pain and hell, and I know ya'll want only speakers who have come through the darkness. I'm still living in it. Nonetheless, I do love your stories and appreciate them, thank you!

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear that. No words can express a tragic loss like that, but hopefully stories like Shelly's can provide some small level of comfort as you continue on your difficult journey. Just know that you and your family have a special place in our hearts.

Oh Mary, You poor thing. I wish I could hug you. I have no words. I do understand the problem of pain. I am familiar with darkness. I wish I could rescue you. I will be petitioning Father that your load will be lighter.
