For me I think would still prefer to wear underwear even with padded ang hirap kasi pag wala.. feeling ko mag jijingle bels my you know when you make padyak padyak ... pero sabi nyo nga po depende :)

I usually wear fake cycling jerseys, I’d like to experience the comfort Santic cycling gives while riding 😌
I only owned 4 or 5 Genuine on-road cycling jersey since late 80's until to date. Until now I still have them them, of course, there are already signs that these jerseys are really old but still in pristine condition. Unlike the copy-cat or reproduction jerseys that I currently have, the quality of my old jersey's are really different. Whenever I go out for a ride, I always use my reproduction jerseys and shorts/bib shorts. It is just comfortable while the fit are OK. I don't care what people/other riders will say about my cycling outfit, but here in Canada, it is not a big deal wearing copy-cat outfit and no one even talks about it. I remember when I was still living in Manila, a rider who I don't know asked me if my La Vie Claire jersey was Original, and I said "YES"....so WTH.....Wearing original outfit is just nice to have thing, I'd rather spend the extra money in buying something to eat while doing long solo rides or replacement parts. As for gel padded bib shorts, the feeling wearing those kind of gel shorts was Night to Day.....I can do longer rides wearing them....Great information.... ! ! !

very informative video. . . in my view, 90% (safe estimate) or a great lot of bikers are more after how they look on or off their bikes (and also what bike they are riding) and are pretenders (mga naglakas-lakasan pero kamote/lugaw naman) and their actuations defeats the purpose and beauty of riding a bike (that is to have a good time and enjoy the experience) . . . i started to ride bikes in the early 90's and usually do weekly in-city and cross country with my friends and sometimes by my lonesome (papunta at pabalik lang po ng NCR hehehe) but stopped riding in the late 90's and only ngayong start ng 2022 lang ulit bumalik sa biking . . .ang hirap pala ibalik ang kahapon (strenght and endurance-wise) most especially that i'm already a senior citizen (am turning 64 this november, 2022). BTW am a new subscriber here!!!
Pag long ride normall dry-fit shirt and trekking pants para iwas punit sa trail. Then swimming trunks na boxers para madali matuyo and iwas kiskis sa singit. Hindi babaho pag nababad sa tubig tapos pawis

yup derecho cycling shorts. wore underwear before, it just soaks up the sweat and the bands and garter will rub and chafe your skin. imagine saddle sores sa singit mo... ouch! cycling shorts with anti chafing creams like Assos Chamois Cream, Chamois Butt'r, Petal Power etc really helps. ride safe Ma'am

Advise sa mga newbie, huwag na bumili ng fake or mumurahin na cycling pants. Bili na agad ng high quality pants. Yung jersey walang problema, kahit imitation walang masyadong issue, pero yung pants pinaka importante para comfortable ang ride mo all the way. Also gumamit din anti chafing product. Parang vaseline sya but not as thick. It’s to lessen friction on skin further. Our skin once mabasa ng pawis becomes more prone to irritation. And dapat talaga walang underwear. Bumili ka pa ng mahal na short hindi mo naman pala gagamitin yung high tech na padding. Sayang pera mo.

true, santic is a good cycling quality for jersey, 2 yrs ko na gamit ok pa rin, lalo na dito saudi ,napakainit.
Before i bought a padded cycling short, i once tried yung Japanese brand na brief style adult diaper. Comfortable sya for a 50 km ride promise. :)
Use dznuts Pro Chamois Cream | Anti-Chaffing | 4 fl oz. / 120 ml.
Bike saddles are subjective. A comfy saddle for one may not necessarily comfy for another. Saddle height and angle positioning is key also. Cushioning is a band-aid solution but really does not solve the issue - that the saddle is not fit for you. You should be able to ride and use a saddle comfortably even without additional cushion on your apparel. I have used saddles from Prologo PAS II titanium to SMP to WTB to Specialized Phenom to what-have-you's, ranging from Php4K-16K. But surprisingly, i found the right saddle for me at Php650 pesos. I can ride without external padding even for 100kms w/o my butt feeling sore. Having a comfortable bike is all about bike fitting.

I use chamois cream, Butt'r Euro Style and Assos. No underwear. Doesn't matter fake or original as long as you enjoy and know how to carry them. Sabi nga 'nasa nag dadala yan'. When ypu feel good you ride good. Spend more a bit on bib shorts for comfort and quality specialy if you like to ride longer distance. Buy nice to avoid buying twice.

Quick dry jersey is great. My experience is cotton material is best. No chaffing. Comfortable. but not brief design. I use plain cotton underwear.

As a man. I don’t wear underwear inside my pair of bibs, either short or long ride. They were never design to use any underwear. I also use chamois cream to avoid any irratation and discomfort feeling.

Nice salamat po sa great videos nyo on biking. Biker din po ako pero hindi sa Pinas, sa Beijing, ang trend dito is bikers would go to work, school, malls on a daily basis ang bike sharing always during cool and cold weather, pag mainit like summer, although ang hot summer sa Beijing is not as humid and hot compared sa Pinas. walang nag bike. Grabe kawawa ang bikers sa Pinas, kasi, sa countries na may 4 seasons, we would only bike during cool and cold seasons. Pag mainit like summer na almost whole year climate sa Pinas, we avoid walking or biking outside. Same when i lived and worked in Canada and Texas

Santic for my bib shorts and for my jersey is from Salt+Fin locally made here in cebu. Sobrang ganda ng jersey parang tig 4k-5k na quality pero 1k-1.5k lang ang salt+fin.
I do have a santini bib+jersey mahal pero ibang klase ang quality but that will be my last set. Santic and salt+fin na ako all the way 👌🏼

Yung iba naglalagay ng Petroleum Gel sa padding ng short nila. Para iwas friction din daw. I tried and oks naman. May ibang feeling nga lang.

Tip lang dun sa mga gusto pa rin ng undies. Magshorts na lang kayo over the bib shorts if medyo nafifeel niyo na naked kayo underneath.
Napabili ak ng dry fit n pangbike kasi sabi ng mga matatagal ng nagbabike ay para daw makaiwas s pulmonya o pagkaubo dahil s pawis n na di natutuyo s likod
Good day po❤Almost 2 and a half yrs na po akong nagbabike and never po ako nagkaroon ng cycling jersey, gustuhin ko man po pero may mga bagay po ako na dapat unahin bilhin kesa cycling jersey kasi isa po akong estudyante at mga magulang ko ay pagsasaka ang pinagkakaitaan at yung bike ko po bigay lang ng aking tiyahin, napaka init ng mga cotton tshirt ipang ride pero wala po akong magawa kundi pagtiisan nalang diko naman na yun napapansin at nararamdaman sa twing nagrarides dahil sa saya habang lumapadyak . Pero kung kay chance man po na magkaroon ako ng cycling jersey, sobrang ikaliligaya ko po kung sakali man at sobrang iingatan ko po ito. Btw maam I am from Gumaca hehe.

gud day mam, from 2017 to 2019 aq ng RB n never bumili ng orig na jersey hehehe i find it comfortable un mga ginamit OEM, yes just lyk any typical male biker ndi rin aq ng underwear as long na ang padding is parehas nun sa vlog mo.
since balik mtb (trail/downhill) nko more on drifits na shirt, cycling shorts is png inner na lang sa trail shorts ko.
medyo ng invest ng konti sa shirt now, meron aq fox, adidas n ang fav ko gamitin is underarmour pero meron din aq mga shopee na drifits hehehe... staysafe always mam🙏

Ako on cycling jersey way back no underwear talaga. Pero since matagal na ko di gumagamit nyan at laging naka hiking shorts and polo or Drifit shirt gumagamit ako ng boxer shorts as underwear.
Sa regular rider, kailangan na naka uniform pang bike..kasi ang mga kapadyak..anytime tutulungan ka

Just want to say na walang kinalaman sa aerodynamics ang bib shorts. Para lang hindi bumaba yung shorts tuwing rides... especially sa guys. Advantage nya ay di mo kailangan mag adjust ng shorts mo. Disadvantage ng bib shorts ay... #3 usually mas mahal, #2 minsan di sya comfortable sa shoulders (pero depende sa tao at sa fit yun), at #1 kung mag CR. Great video.

Nung 2019 pa sakin jersey ko hanggang ngayun gamit ko parin iisa lang yun paulit ulit ko suot hanggang ngayun wala lang d ko lang iniisip porma ko kahit paulit ulit mahalaga masaya ka sa napupuntahan mo

personally nde ako nag susuot ng underwear, pero naka doble ako ng shorts. meron ako nabili na cycling (padded) shorts sa decathlon, then pandoble ko yung running shorts ko dati. sa pantaas, mga running jerseys/finisher shirts naman. pag pumayat payat siguro ako, ayan try ko na yung cycling jerseys hehe. ride safe xzar!

6:45 I do wear underwear well as a man but I don't do long rides most of the time my saddle is lowered but I'm standing up because I need a lot of movements to compensate from the traffic
Invest on your bib/shorts for comfort, performance and durability. My top brands: Assos, PAS Normal and Blacksheep. Good for 200km and more. May mga bib na puwedeng ibaba lang like shorts for convenience sa pag-toilet. Pagnaka-bib, walang tendency na makitaan ng butt cleavage or lower back and mas sexy kc compressed ang mga bilbil 😅 No to underwear. Mag-cream/grease din sa singkit to avoid pinching and chapping. All the best!

Naalala ko noong unang bili ko ng bike 11 years ago, dirt jump ang set up, ang sakit ng upuan. Sabi ng mga kaibigan ko, wag akong magpapalit ng saddle kasi kasama sa porma ng dj yun. Hindi ako nakinig, mas inuuna ko ang comfort kesa porma kaya naghanap ako ng medyo malaki, malambot at komportableng saddle. Next ride namin, pinagtawanan ako kasi sa saddle ko pero pagtapos ng ride namin, ako lang ang nakakalakad ng maayos.

I always appreciate the view lalo na kung pinaghirapan kong akyatin gaya sa kantang "the climb" by Miley Cyrus. Invest 1 or 2 sets High Quality Jersey bib and top.hndi lahat sa Pinas maka afford ng High quality jersey mabuti nalang may mga china o lokal made Jersey dyan sa atin.
Ride regularly para ndi sumakit pwet mo. Pag ndi ka talaga sumasakay regularly ndi talaga masasanay pwet. Wala mura at mahal na shorts yan. Even sa saddles mapapansin nyo kung Gano katitigas ang mga high end na saddles.
pwede seamless ice silk bago mag padded pants.
