Lots of helpful info in these, a bit overly detailed though, and I wanted to mention that the flaps on the carb break then we’re replacing a carburetor instead of just an o ring.

Ahhh! Finally! Thanks bro! I knew about the porting... but not about the air exchange!! For some stupid reason i thought air would get sucked from carb, to air manifold, to ABOVE the piston... Duh!! Wheres the fun in that right...Love your vids. Don't be suprised if I hit u up with a question or two.. But your vids are quite comprehensive so.... Was gonna buy the newer 100 model, but decided to stick with the 66 for the universal parts factor...

    Very informative video.
I have put together one of this engine and it works Ok with some hick ups. I think with your video I may fix that.
Couple of issue is have. One is that when running there is too much tail white smoke comes out. Other is that when engine stops, there is black oil drips from the muffler. Any idea how to fix these issues? Thanks.

oh im having a long case of non starting engine here, started when it my chain broke the wall between it and magneto coil, i buyed a new block of engine, put my pieces on, changed cdi and magneto coil, and still not working, the motor pops, sometimes even have a strong pull but dosent get speed and keeps dying and dying, and stops, dont even pop anymore, then it rest somedays and it starts to run and dies all over again. Was an old engine 3y old, that always runned ok. But after entering mud and pieces of metal in contact with magneto coil, i could never put it to work again, even chaning the eletric part, spark plug was the first. Today i has a good spark, but just dosent run well, im suspicious about the magneto rotor being a little damaged (some scratches on it) and some leaking from the new cranck case. Ive changed my gas tank to a plastic new one, cuz the old had rust, thats all details i can remember. I will try next to take off the gas filter the goes inside the gas tank as you recomended, and check for bubbles too, i get back to you.

When I take my hand off the clutch, the back wheel freezes like the breaks applied. ‘Auto Morris 110CC 2 stroke engine’. Tried to start it for the first time and I got no downhill around here, hahaha. When I was pedalling, it was a double pedalling for both chains. I was told the spark plug connector could be loose cause’ the red one has just a spring in the back to hold the top of the spark plug. The chain may be a little loose or the plastic wheel isn’t right, but I don’t think that matters? I also don’t have a primer. Hahaha keep pedalling? I release the clutch and the back break freezes like the brakes applied. What do I do with that?

Your engine might be locked up. Remove the drive cover where the chain is and put a socket on the nut on the sprocket and see if engine will turn over

I have a problem with my bike, I would really apreciate if you could find time to help me. So it starts kinda hard, and then it idle properly, but when I left the throttle after a couple minutes of full throttle, it starts reving even higher. It had a problem staing on, even with the idle screw screwed all the way in so I grind a little from the flap to make more room for air. This solved the probleme, but on a new engine I think it will idle way to high.
This is a 66cc 2 stroke, piston port, with a full speed around 55km/h. And it have around 6000 km so far on this set, the bottom end have way more, around 15000km, but it dosent have leaks so I think its still working properly.
I recently change the piston rings, beliving that those could be the problem, and indeed the old ones were wore off. I didnt change the piston or cylinder yet, and it still rev like crazy after riding wot for awhile. I try with another carb and the same problem occured (with the same jet). Going up on the jet, will make the engine start easier, but its performance decrease semnificantly, getting only to 30-35km/h.
This new generation of sets from the past couple of years, I noticed have the piston skirt for transfer lower with almost 1mm. And have a sever decrease in performance.
