Great video! Also the most of you questions were answered at tgs. You can use summons, every character has 3-4 jobs, you can order a satillite lazer atrack...
According to the creators, they thought they hit the peak with the brawler-style combat. It is a bit weird since they did fine changing it up for Judgment.
I think it's mostly a matter of the timing being right. With the main character change they have kind of a fresh start point with the new character. So It's likely a mix of desire to do something new with the franchise (after over a decade of making pretty much just brawlers) and that shift in main characters giving them the opportunity to do so.
I was working on this and it took me awhile to get done due to other obligations. Then suddenly, the next trailer happened to drop today. Just my fortune. I suppose I'll comment on that a little over the weekend.
Depends on the game and what difficulty you're playing on. In the more demanding ones, you do have to actually learn how to trigger all the heat moves since they do less damage each time you try to use one a second time on a boss. And when done right, it can look rather beautiful. I would look at some of devilleon or other RUclipsr's stuff to see just how good you can make fights look when you really understand everything the game has to offer.

Well I'll be, it's great to hear from you again Mr. Gentleman😎
Turn based Ryu ga gotoku game? Sounds kind of ridiculous at first, but I must say.. I'm intrigued!
I just wonder why now, where Yakuza finally got popular in the west, they decided to turn it into a turned based combat game.

This actually looks incredible.
