I know it's pRoBaBlY going to be one-sided, but I still really want to see this:
    The Battle of the Sisters:
    Fusō & Yamashiro vs Nelson & Rodney /// 2v2
It's late 1941, the British Admiralty has agreed to send the HMS Nelson and HMS Rodney to the far-east to reinforce their presence instead of sending HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales--the thought being that the two sister ships should compliment each other well with regards to performance and firepower. The Japanese are waiting and have set a trap--while the main strike force sent to Hawaii is commencing the raid on Pearl Harbor, the Fusō and Yamashiro have been dispatched to the Indian Ocean to blockade any reinforcements being sent via the Suez Canal. The pairs of ships both have the same maximum speed of 23 knots while their armament could also be considered a draw. It's a battle of sisters as the aging dreadnought style ships hold their ground against the advancing British treaty-built battleships.

What pilots remained were undertrained rookies who had been rushed to the front to try and stop the allies who were rapidly advancing on japan. The Shinano would have likely been sunk by US aircraft at some point or would have had little impact on the war itself.

@@halfgecko3202 The Bismarck's turrets were only four in number and turrets were named in line with the turret configuration AB-CD. Hood had a similar naming scheme except it wasn't the turrets themselves, it was the guns which were in this case named after characters in Snow White and the seven dwarfs. In essence, historically, no turrets had actual names to them; however some famous ships had their turrets or individual guns named as "batteries" similar to how they were named for coastal fortifications such as the Atlantic Wall as one example.

Both ship fought and trade blows in battle of the yellow sea in 1904.

Tsesarevich was based on French battleship Jauréguiberry and built at the Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée shipyard in La Seyne-sur-Mer, France , while Mikasa was based on the Formidable-class battleships of the Royal Navy with two additional 6-inch and built by Vickers at their Barrow-in-Furness shipyard, Cumbria, North-West England.

About patches/delays to the games development, i purchased it on steam as soon as it came available and don´t regret it since. The way the game is right now it already provided me hours of building and skirmishing around with various scenarios. Sure patches are welcome with fixes and new stuff but to a certain extend i wonder how long the devs can keep this up without selling more content with dlc´s to make some bucks.

The damage instability debuff gets lower as the time goes on, so a massive hit and reduction in structural integrity causes a really big and sudden drop in accuracy, that will be regained over time. Whereas if the damage coming in is gradual it is counteracted by the repairs over a longer time producing a longer lasting but lower drop in accuracy overall.

    • @SephirothRyu
      @SephirothRyu 2 года назад +2

In custom battle, they don't go away after battle. They just stay in the custom battle file. This can lead to you fighting your own ships if you fight a nation at a year you have made ships for, but don't specify what ships they are using.
You cannot currently save/export/import a ship design, unless you goto the custom battle save file and just manually use wordpad or something to extract the ship from it and give it to someone who knows how to insert it into their own file.
Someone should really make an open source program that does that for you so that people can trade ships around until the devs actually consider putting in an import/export feature themselves.

Speaking of Armor Quality; And I hope you read this here Stealth.
If the Yamato in game (or any ship, but lets use Yamato here) has 16 inches of of main belt which im guessing is historically accurate? So with the armor quality of 120% that gives the Yamato a belt of 19.2 Inches of armor. Wouldn't accounting for the increase of armor protection allow you to scale down the inches of belt armor as the % increase can make up for it due to strength and save some weight? This going for every type of armor on the ship.

@@surlyboomergaming2517 what lead to the loss of all eight of Russia's battleships in 1905 was the fact of untrained crews, poor leadership, an all or nothing armor scheme on the Russian ships as well as the fact Tsar has his ships commit to an 18,000 mile voyage. And they just blundered into the strait without having a scouting force make sure it prudent to do so.

Can you do a rebuild of the Yamato, but using the Modern Battleship II hull since it's the accurate one? It could also save you a bit of weight due to the hull form reduces the needed engine horsepower, thus reduces the engine's weight.

You need to translate it, but there are a few more details for this class.
    For example it's only 63.400 t, 16 Inch guns and 30kn fast.

If by Pocket battleships you mean the Panzerschiffes, that would be no contest at all. Deutschland class had only 6 11 inch guns and very weak armor even by cruiser standards. Even Alaska would easily overpower Deutschland.
