Honestly after seeing the community behind Hades I plan on running the game as well. I have tons of fun playing casually as it is and finally beat it 3 times yesterday so I wouldn't say I'm at the level to start just yet but I've put a lot of hours in just watching videos/learning about boons/strategies etc. On top of about 100 hours in game right now. I'll have to pump in minimum 500-700+ before I REALLY settle in and speed run though at least in terms of posting one.
I just got it a few days ago, and it's more fun than expected. I doubt I'll get into speedrunning it since it depends so much on RNG, but the random nature definitely keeps it interesting and adds a lot of replay value. I'm just far enough that I've had 4 successful runs, and am currently on a 3-win streak. Still mostly just trying to farm resources to unlock things though, so I'm picking whichever weapon is thirsty, and going with whatever random boons appear, optimizing for darkness and gems. Then after I get the ability to reroll, I might start attempting more intentional strategies. Or perhaps get bored and move onto something else. Either way, it's a good game.
Nah pho is even sold by street vendors and sometimes eaten for breakfast (in Vietnam). In the states it's more of a special thing just because it takes some time to simmer and generally makes more than a single family can eat at a time so we make it for larger family gathering and events.
Hael, re: your double strike question Double strike is bugged at least twice. Pseudo and Ello are trying to figure it out, but they only know where one of the bugs is. If you used Beo + Zeus cast and pom double strike to 100%, you get 5 bolts instead of 2. But Ello only knows why you get 3 instead of 2. The other 2 extras, we don't know. The scaling seems to be a bit different with special and dash, but bottom line, it can proc 3 times on a non-meme run. 5x if you meme. But it's a bug, and it makes double strike better then the numbers say it does. So far no one has a competitive build that exploits this, but once Ello understands the bugs better, that could change.
@@GoBlueHTB it was in early access 3 years ago. So there's a huge back catalog of content. And people do still stream it some times, but Hael has basically done every challenge you can think of. There's only so much content for people to make. But you should check out Hael's stream. Even when he's not playing Hades, it's a good time.

@@p0oka261 Yeah, I remember that. But for some reason I remember projectiles looking differently (now they are back to normal), and main shield was being turned into non-bouncing one as well. Also, they fired more tightly, but also were glitching into, say, not applying hangover stacks for every one of them if you were too close... Or something. I was really upset over how exactly they did that nerf. Oh well. Maybe I remember it wrong and I ws just sucking myself.
Has anyone suggested something like a "Pantheon Run" where you do all aspects that correspond to a god whose trinket you have? I'm thinking either require starting with corresponding trinket, or maybe even requiring keep that trinket on for that aspect's entire run. Edit: just occurred to me that bow and gun wouldn't make it in. Maybe Aphro for Hera (who was goddess of marriage), and Chaos for Eris since Eris was a god of chaos?
If we're just talking about aspects, you don't need to do all weapons. It saves time and sanity to not. (Also I have seen something similar to this, but it was a 1-god only run version. Yours is the easier out of the two, as it doesn't ban any other deity that isn't the associated one.) There are; A sword, A Spear, technically 2 shield, and a fist aspect to work with. How about only the 4 weapons instead, and the runner chooses the order and which shield they use for the speedrun. Hades spear, which is where you have to have his keepsake on at all times so you can actually have his boon, would be an interesting one to see happen. Also Hera would absolutely despise being associated with Aphrodite, Hera has too much of a sense of faithfulness (and willingness to murder over faithlessness*) in marriage to like the whoreness of Aphro. *There is a reason her bow is made of a bunch of people's skulls, she has like a 5,000 known body count. And probably 150k unknown, we know how Zeus is. Chaos and Eris ain't that bad, as Eris is one of Nyx's spawn, and therefore Chaos' grandchild. And Eris was definitely not about having order in the world, but Chaos isn't really about having chaotic things happen all the time, more just being a primordial soup all reality sprang out of and being a neutral force. This would open Nemesis sword up if Eris were allowed, as Nemesis is a sister of Eris, and therefore would be under the same rules. Chiron, who did have a hunter side to him, might be able to take Artemis, but overall there really isn't that much going for Bow to be well associated with any greek deity available to us.

So question about the god pool during a run. I know it's the first four you accept boons from, and that more can be forced, but if you sell a boon from a god in your god pool does it remove it from the pool?
It does not, pretty sure. You might never see that god again, but it will count against others showing up, at least it's how it worked for me. Not sure if it counts for family favorites, but I'm guessing it still does.

@@Annokh they changed it in 1.0 so now the extra shields don't bounce and they shoot out in front of you. It was a nerf but its still pretty good
