George plays 'Joey Waller' aka 'Baildon Joe' in the Rise of the Footsoldier movies and has numerous writing credits along with many other top roles, such as co-writing the films Villain and Baby Boy.
George is related to the legendary Lenny McLean and played Frank Warren in the classic movie based on Lenny's life, My Name is Lenny.

Nice fella, i know hes family well, i was mates with hes aunt, more.. growing up in Hoxton myself, its true and sad about the drugs just went through Hoxton like the plague, he has done really well, and 15 years clean, im 28 year clean myself now, Nice one anyway...and a great actor too, I was also a friend with nick love, who made football factory and the sweeny, I haven't seen him for years though, he would be a good interview.

One my favourite British actors
Pukka story! I can relate to everything he is saying we’re cut from the same cloth. I grew up round the corner in Islington, marquees estate in the 90’s, me nan was from Hoxton she was a ward, her brother was Buller Ward. The parts about getting on the bugle heavy and out there every weekend on the eccies is what we all done from that manor, it’s part of our culture. Raindance, moondance, one nation, you name it we was there having it up 😂 brilliant to see someone turn it round and do well for themselves. Top man! All the best for the future mate
Buller was a hard man, and respected, a face, my brother new the wards, im from Hoxton.

Can relate to so much being an old skool raver 1989 to 1996 then stopped going out remember well when it went all dark and moody.. plus big film buff and seen all the british gangster films. Hes a good actor this guy. Basildon Joe was a good character. But then he also managed to play a different type of character in villain where he also convincing. Has a good bit of screen presence.

Watched a few of terrys podcasts and this one is by far the best so natural no bullshit and flowed nicely !!! Great when they spoke about the film 🎥 my name is Lenny as i actually worked that production doing the security but remembered Jamie from the football days and a couple of people I know also from the casual era were extras on the film !! Phenomenal phenomenal episode, I don’t know much about George but his story the way he talks openly and honestly was just brilliant. This episode shows perfectly why I love podcasts you can get to know someone that you wouldn’t usually get the chance to and usually you’ll grow to really like them because of this. I loved growing up in hoxton and it all seemed so normal, looking back it was a crazy place. I know a couple of lads that used to visit the Burberry factory
The Burberry Factory was legendary back then
I grew up in Hoxton too, got caught up in the drugs in the 80s, clean now 28 years, probably cross paths in Hoxton
@@Hoxton66 there didn’t seem to be many people not smoking draw or drinking back then in hoxton, we used to drink mad dog 20/20 at the back of the post office many moons ago, we were only 11 or 12
