    😍 He is hot & hilarious 😍 Tom Hardy
    Bronson is a 2008 British biographical crime film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, based on a script written by Refn and Brock Norman Brock. The film stars Tom Hardy as Michael Peterson, known from 1987 as Charles Bronson. The film follows the life of this prisoner, considered Britain's most violent criminal, who has been responsible for a dozen or so cases of hostage taking while incarcerated. He was given the name Charles Bronson by his fight promoter, for his bare-knuckle fighting years.

    Bronson telling Tom sometimes you have to cut a little piece of yourself off in order to grow was really insightful.. I’m sure anyone dealing with mental health issues or addiction can relate.. The movie was awesome, Bronson has an amazing story and Tom is a great actor.

      *Charlie Bronson says,* "Tom (Do you remember the floods... tells the story... that wouldn't have happened to me), 'cause I would've said, CUT IT OFF NOW! *Sometimes you gotta cut a little piece of yourself off,* yeah, *no matter how much it hurts, in order to grow. Yeah? In order to move on. You know what I mean?"* > _This is a beautiful way to live. It ends _*_your own personal suffering_*_ against those who've wronged you._
      None of this matters if you have mental health or addiction issues. *This way of life APPLIES TO EVERYONE.*
      I really wanted to type this phonetically so we could all read it in Charlie Bronson's voice. I did not because I have had to rewrite things before. heeheeheee.

    Perfect casting, no-one else could have played this role, or dealt with Charlie's fearsomely strong personality on his own level. Charlie would just see straight though any other Holly pretender not upto scratch. Ton Hardy's the one actor who knows hows to deal with Charlie with respect without being scared of him. Fantastic film, and I'm a ex-prisoner who has read the book, a great read even if you've seen movie. Film is a great rendition, Nicholas Winding Refen is one of my favourite directors, brilliant! 👍👌🇬🇧

    • @Faladaena
      @Faladaena 2 года назад

      To be fair, Hardy is not exactly a "Hollywood actor", not in the true sense of the word, same as with Idris Elba, btw (or Ozzy actors, for that matter).
      Bc, I don't care if they would work exclusively in the US/Hollywood for the rest of their lives, I'll *always* see them as UK actors, some of UK's very best, who just happened to work overseas.
      In the end, it's their mentality, shaped by growing up in Britain, having deep-rooted, proper British values, which essentially will always be a distinct contrast with, and set them apart from the Holly clique... (Just my personal opinion, oc.)
      PS: Such a turn-off to hear Idris speak with an American accent, it's unnatural, LOL!

    I so wish Tom hardy had took the Daniel Day Lewis route and been more exclusive with his movies and the characters he played, to this day i still think Bronson is his finest and most focused performance.

      You say he’s smart but anyone who wants to spend their whole life in prison has to have really low intelligence in my opinion. You glamorise him like he’s some kind of hero. He’s a psycho and would hurt you if you looked at him the wrong way. Furthermore, he’s brought all the hell on himself.

    Charlie liked the movie but not much, he didnt like many parts and thought much that should have been in it, was not in it. However overall he sounded fairly happy and said himselöf that no movie is ever perfect, I loved the movie. Loved following Charlie from the start back in the 70s but solid so from the 80s onward

    Remember the movie "Chopper" a film based on Australias notorious criminal Mark Chopper Read. played by Eric Bana, I've always said from the first time i seen Chopper that the part was made for Tom Hardy, no disrespect to Eric Bana he played the role brilliantly, but if Tom Hardy was Chopper, then that would have turned a decent good movie into a great all-time classic, thats my opinion anyway,
