A massive fan of Rise of the footsoldier seen them all so far and I’m probably speaking for the majority here but Craig Fairbrass as Pat Tate is what made the films as good as they are especially the Pat Tate Story/Marbella, there can never be anyone else who will do the role as good as Craig Fairbrass. Tamer Hassan did amazing in Bonded By Blood but Craig just brings a little something different to the role. Some people say Craig’s too old to play Pat and Craig’s said it himself but what might have gone un-noticed is Craig has done brilliantly at playing Pat and has embodied his character so well that the majority doesn’t even notice the age or even cares about it. You know an actor has done an incredible job that whenever you look at them you’re just brought back to the character they played. I doubt there will be any more Rise of the foot soldiers after Origins unless they centre one around Craig Rolfe but they’ve already told his story in the first one. Either way Craig is incredible can remember him in Eastenders and he still had the same intimidating presence

Director did say rotf5 is the ending but they are starting a modern day one with an all new cast I think is it Andy loveday? Who said it I can't wait for that too. Craig as pate is a win win like you said he does ever so well age didn't even play a part when I watched them just reels you in straight away love it.

We don't go on and on and on about it and make countless documentaries and movies about one specific event. It's a bit of a farce at this stage and once someone is making money off gangland groupies who bizarrely lap this repeat story up they will continue to put this boring story out there. It's taking 'flogging a dead horse' to new levels.

I imagine based on Craig's frame and the fact that he trains, he's probably quite handy, however, put him in with an amateur heavyweight who's had a few fights, he would probably get taken apart. But against regular guys in the pub, I'm sure Craig would have the upper hand. He is an actor after all, not a fighter. Although he portrays a drug-taking psychopath very well! The Pat Tate role was made for him. Just watched Muscle last night, he was great in that too.

I'm from Australia and Craig reminds me of an Aussie actor who was very underrated here in Oz..His name was Vernon Wells who went on to play Wez in Mad Max and had a major heavy role in Commando with Arnie..I will say I rate Craig highly!! Fantastic actor!!

Craig is a very good actor,been in lots of films ,also Londons burning,tuckers luck prime suspect and EastEnders ..it'll be good if they did another footsoldier movie part 6
