RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: THE PAT TATE STORY Synopsis: The rise of ruthless Essex gangster Pat Tate, who blazes a path from Marbella to the Medway in the late 80s, peddling pills and snorting coke and crushing anyone who gets in his way, in his quest for cash and power. Double- crossed by an ex-pat drug baron, Tate ends up in prison. Undeterred, he establishes himself as top dog inside, and gets himself in shape in preparation for his release - when he plans to reclaim his turf the only way he knows how - with violence, and no mercy.

Brilliant bunch of films, love the violence, swearing and everything! People who say it's crap etc , it's entertainment, if you think it's crap or don't like it who cares. I could watch Pat Tate character bashing and smashing all day long lol

This movie is really funny to me, Fairbrass is hilarious, I find the extreme violence and swearing really entertaining

I find the fact that some people take these films seriously almost as hilarious as the films themselves.
If you take any film seriously then you're crazy. These films are entertaining and that's what films are all about.

BritFlicks.Com the film was great, Pats life was certainly complex, a very unstable but scary guy, these films will never die, too many people interested in there tragic demise. I really enjoyed the film, it's interesting as I had the feeling that something further ie a film of sorts would be made about PAT TATE, go buy it rent it, it's up there, great work guys seriously....
BritFlicks.Com the film was brutal, brutally honest too, Pat TATE was a very ambitious man, and very violent too, like the quote in the film by Larry Lamb, Ambition will get you killed quicker, a must buy, I have the whole three, I feel Pat had a more interesting story in general, go buy this you won't be devastated, got mine in Asda on Dvd and Blu Ray for a tenner, can't complain, 9/10

A wide audience in Essex more like. Awful films and casting. Mind you there is a comedic theme with Terry Stone acting and the awful syrup he wears
