Leroy Foam Plug Assembly | Final Livery!!!

- After a ton of foam cutting and even some re-cuts to make sure it's right, we are finally diving in to assembling the foam plug for Leroy. On top of that, Jesse was able to finalize a livery that everyone is pumped about and we had an awesome visit from the man himself @CleetusM along with LS George. We wanted to really dive in and give you an inside look at what goes on in the assembly process, the problems that can arise, as well as the solutions and how we work through them and make sure at the end of the day, we're creating the best product we can, every time. As a CAD guy myself I know how much time it takes to do what Jesse has done here. Staggering amount of hours spent on the CAD and aero. Nice work fellas.
Ya ive messed with cad in my engineering classes and i can definitely say those are endless hours on just the tubes alone
@@michaelbarclay445 I feel ya, this is straight up wizardry. I'm also in uni studying mechanical engineering and we've been doing some CAD as well. Here I am struggling to make a 3-piece wheel design and these guys are making an insane body with great aerodynamics :P

Worlds first "monster drag car" Merch. Plushies, toys, model cars etc will spawn from this great idea. People will flock to this car, even more now. It'll capture the imagination of children and will lead to other monster drag cars, with names and personalities just like Leroy. Leroy has become the gravedigger of drag cars.

Could I suggest adding more detail to eagles eyes so it doesn’t look like a frog sticking its tongue out… turbos are the eyes, beak is the tongue, eyes are the frogs mouth lol🤣🤣 still looks sick af!!

Nor do they know what Leroy has been through till these guys stepped in! They need to have Garrett let them post a collage video of his beginnings to their final fitment and post it on their channel! That would be the ultimate flex! Then a follow up episode post smoke test in the wind chamber (not sure the technical term).

I saw Cleetus’s video. Top notch work. Kids and adult beds would definitely be a big hit.Another option is go kart/Power Wheels body. Ripper would love that.

It's so cool, cleatus is such a huge creator and bringing his community to other channels to help all the other people spread there channels. He's paying them but also paying them more with views on there individual channels

In the livery, I can see in my mind the final product, but can't help at this time seeing the turbos as eyes, and the beak as a tongue sticking out :D It's going to be SO cool to see this livery in the real car!
I agree. Looks a bit like a frog. Love it but some angles might be changed around to fix that.

It didn't seem like a joke to me. Cleetus seemed to legitimately think there is a market for a Leroy bed. He's pretty business-savvy, so if he thinks there's a market, I believe it.

The original rendering for the livery was so much better than the one Cleetus is going with. To go so over the top with the body design it deserved an over the top livery/graphics to match and the feathers were perfect. I really wish he would reconsider because the one he chose just doesn’t do the body justice. I was curious what it look like with ghosted feathers in the that white but still I like the original. Great job on the body!
You have to remember that his white C7 started everything for him so I think he is going with that theme for Leroy as well.
I agree and white is the most boring colour on earth and it ruins every body line on any vehicle because it has zero depth it makes everything flat. I hope he changes his mind in the future and adds the feathers.
All I can see on the white livery is a goofy face with with his tongue sticking out. However, it does look pretty good from the rear 3/4 perspective!
