**UPDATE!** i went ahead and ordered 2 of the HANTEK 365F dataloggers from china for the volt pro battery testing - one for voltage and one for current - they are battery powered, and seem like a pretty useful bit of kit for future projects as well! they should be here in a few weeks, and i'll get to work gathering data on the charging cycles/voltage curves on these permobil chargers!

Dan, I appreciate your videos and advice. I have another question. I've just put new 12 volt 18ah batteries in my little, backup Pride Go chair. I've fully charged it with the factory charger. How much should I discharge it the first few cycles?

You’ll want to ease those batteries into life- don’t run them low at all for the first week or so. Just use it a little bit for short distances, plug in overnight, then repeat for about the first week, then you’re good to go! Those batteries are fairly small - so not as critical to break them in properly- but certainly don’t run them low for the first week of charging cycles!

My dealer installed new 55ah MK Batteries in my 2023 Quantum Edge last week. Are better gel batteries available?

MK is the way to go!
