Good morning Ian thanks for putting this up i couldn’t do this part of the lakes cause of that wound I had beautiful definitely have to go back up there 👍👍🙏
Thanks Derek, it truly is stunning. If you continue where I turned around, you can eventually take a right turn which would bring you back towards Keswick on the Whinlatter Pass.
Yes Ian, absolutely stunning. You got the same weather as me and Ann on Hera a couple of weeks back. It’s a completely different ride going back the way you came. Thanks bud, really enjoyed this. Take care.
The road was relatively quiet and made for a great ride. That house for sale, I would never want to live there no matter how beautiful, far too many folk around. It scary how many drivers just ignore your right of way because you are on the bike. I recorded that pass when I was in my car and going to look it out and watch to see what memories it brings back. Cheers Ian.
Morning Alex, I had a look at the price £650k, and it needs a full refurb 😂. We wouldn’t want to live there either, apart from all the tourists, it is located in one of the wettest areas in Britain ☔️😂 Car drivers need to know the width of their vehicles, he was closer to me than the parked cars 🙄. Cheers
Thank you. Newlands is a strange one. Stunning at first, then goes off a bit, but comes back later. The Newlands valley being quite wide, doesn't make it quite as dramatic, beautiful non the less. Just my opinion 🤔😂. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed the ride, and the scenery. We are a bit familiar with that area in mid Wales, as visited Builth Wells a few times, travelling from Beddgelert.
@@ianhughesroyalenfield haha! i work at a tattoo studio in Builth wells, some incredible roads around here i must admit, i may even be tempted to showcase a few, my bike gets delivered next friday and the ryhader to elan valley route is one im itching to test the bike on.. and get some good pics i hope (weather permitting) again thanks for the entertainment il be sure to subscribe to check out your future adventures :)
@RainsRide I went to a club weekend at Hay on Wye when I had my trick Hornet 600. Went on an organised run over the Brecons (I know it’s called something else now), fantastic roads, shame the weather was a tad damp ⛈️. Where ever you go, enjoy the ride. So pleased to have you onboard. Cheers
Hiya, I had subscribed to your original channel, being a fan of Paddington (thanks TAYM). So pleased that you chose to have a look at mine too. I hope you will also have a look through some of my older vids too, much better than anything on regular tv. Thank you.
Like you said Ian, stunning video and I bet you actually proffered this ride on Clementine compared to Honour. Or is that me being biased as I love my Classic “Omega” so much., what I do know I need to get up to your part of the world on Omega. Keep these cracking videos coming ! 😊
It’s going to be well risen as it will be my only transport. Haven’t ridden for 25 years or so and never got round to taking my test. Despite approaching my 64 birthday I feel like a big kid waiting for Christmas. Theory done and CBT booked. Then just have to get through the training and the test😅
I am 61, been riding almost constantly since I was 16. Had big bikes, fast bikes and all things in between, but the little Classic 350 just puts a smile on my face, and makes me giggle at times. “The All Year Motorcyclist” youtube.com/@TAYM keeps saying about the RE feel good factor, and he is totally right. These bikes have so much soul and character, not to mention gorgeous kerb appeal. I hope you get on one soon. Hopefully you have seen how I kept Clementine looking good when riding through the winter months. Worth taking time to protect her against the elements.
This is my favourite pass mainly because my favourite mountain is on your left Haystack’s and when you arrive at Buttermere there’s a lovely walk around Buttermere lake and The Bridge Hotel dose very good food if a bit pricey 😊
Great clarity on camera 🎥 & great day.The 350 J motor is a tourqie motor. For me needs another 6hp so it has higher cruising speed Hitchcocks do a cam for it & with a pipe, air filter be about 25hp & Dyno tune 26hp & be a awesome bike. That is why new Triumph 400 & maybe HD 400 be popular as it capable of higher cruising speeds.R.E does have the water cooled 450 which will be more off road capable than Triumph Scrambler 400. If you're like me & gravel & dry dirt roads be the limit Triumph 400Scrambler be the one.If more adventurous the new RE 450 be the one especially for those Himmy & Scram owners who want more power & tourqe & are RE or nothing type.
My view on that is the charm of the Classic is the slower pace you travel at allows you to appreciate the ride. Rather than increasing the speed that means you miss what the Classic is all about, I have had far faster and more powerful bikes but for me nothing has beaten my Classic Reborn.😊
@@Peter234100 They are a great bike & love the look. For me living in countryside having just a little bit more cruising speed like 110kmh so I don't have to stress motor otherwise take forever to get home at 95kmh & once on plains its all flat.If I lived in town it wouldn't be a problem.I would put aftermarket pipe on & seriously think 🤔 about Hitchcocks Cam.I ride on main Highway to get home & being able to cruise at 105kmh all the way so I don't hold up cars.
A great ride except for the numpties, but they have to be allowed out now and then. Its sad that many people who live in cities never get to see and appreciate what is on their doorstep.
Magnificent!! What a ride out! 👍
Thank you, it was gorgeous and made even better by the glorious weather. Cheers

Yes, you are very lucky to live so close to such a wonderful area, Ian.
Thanks Chris, I bet some people get fed up of me saying it 😂
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Maybe some do, Ian, but not those with eyes to see! 😀 It's not for nothing that the Lakes are world-renowned.
True.
Very nice run Ian what a place it is truely awesome to ride I would think .👌👍
Yes, I think this was my favourite ride of the day, closely followed by part 5 😉 Cheers
Love it up there, but you know that 😂👍
Ha ha, I certainly do, thank you 😊
Beautiful day for a ride. 😊
It really was a fantastic day. Thank you
beautiful scenery
Most definitely. Thank you 😊
Just one word, SPACTECULAR! Cheers DINO and Gang.
Thanks Dino, it really is 👌
Beautiful, looking forward to Newlands Pass. It may not be the most spectacular but it is very pretty. I wish the lakes were a bit closer to me.

Yes, it’s a cracking ride, equally as good on Honour, though she was just a bit quicker 😂 Newlands pass will be out on Monday 😉
Stunning views. Can’t wait to get my licence, buy my Classic 350 and get out on some similar rides!
You won’t regret it, needs to be done. The Classic is a genuine go anywhere bike. Keep me posted 😉

Definitely, that’s the downside of living here, and it being the start of tourist season. I will be heading in different directions over summer.
Putin loves the area and is having a summer residence built😉
