A lot of you have been asking for this since a lot of you have come from the Fiesta ST days!
We have Dave's car today in for a brutally honest review!
This is one of the most modified cars ive seen in terms of modifications, a supercharged MK6 Fiesta ST! This is owned by Dave from Greenlight Car Insurance.. and wow was this thing fun to drive!
I am still awaiting the full list of Mods from Dave; check back later on today or tomorrow for the updated list :)

I see this car every morning in Billericay when I go to work. Surprised it showed up randomly on my RUclips recommended list lol. Love the sound of the car.
dude the crunch in reverse is because there is no syncro on reverse gear. all you have to do is hold the clutch peddle in for 3 seconds and it does not grind

Actually it’s the car doing that it’s called torque steer, my car does it

So basically it’s got a load of power that you can’t use until the you’re nearly at the redline and then when you do get there it just spins for days?
thepardons in the soaking wet, a 2WD car with a lot of power spins the wheels.. shocking I know right!
Lee Lockwood I understand it’s in the wet so it not going to grip, but if the power delivery started lower in the revs and was more linear it would surely be better to drive and perform better, no?

That’s not really (how you described it) typically supercharger response (marginal overall power increase) I’d say it’s how it’s been tuned with the wastegates venting a tad more earlier on than you’re expecting.... like any car if its tuned for higher end power. Looks like a great fun car!!

Finally reviewed a Mk6 ST. Awesome little cars.
Love my 08 st. Sits on the drive next to a 400bhp sti. I pick the st to drive to work quite a lot.
ekul mgan I have as well with a fully forged engine and race spec cams. 220bhp with loads of handling mods. Massive fun on B roads and track days.

3:57 I thought there was something wrong with my Fiesta. Didn't realise every single one had a problem with the reverse gear crunching.
Put it in 2nd then reverse it allows the synchros a short gap an thus u get a solid revererse an no Captain crunch 👍😅😂

Just renewed my insurance with the lad who owns this car, I'm impressed, it makes me want to further mod my Focus ST :) Also I recommend Greenlight insurance for you modded cars, I've been with them for 9 years now and have no complaints, easy to get through on the phone, and everyone I've spoken to there is really helpful and well into modded cars.

Centrifugal superchargers dont whine also, twin screw are the kind that do that
Love it mate. Joined your channel for the mk6 cos I've always had a soft spot for them and this is just next level. Or maybe the level after next 🤔😆
Supercharges make boost via engine speed, hence it feels "laggy". Main benefit is that if you come off throttle at say 5k, thne put your foot back down it's instant boost, rather than waiting for exhaust gasses to spool a turbo for example.
I've had my st few months now and always crunches in reverse so glad it's not just mine 👍👌
I wish you went over the car abit more would love to see more of the engine bay and on side of the car and more around the car would of been good

You need this is the dry, even then it doesn't look like 400hp at all
Useable power. This car looks like it has very little of this. Well, on the wet. Must admit, I like the look of it.

I currently have an st150 and looking to upgrade, Iv'e got a mechanic that is wanting rid of his supercharged mx5 but it need's servicing and setting up with a map 🤷♂️ my mate swears by renault sports, he has a 270hp megane

Actually, lee was in the wrong lane. Hes supposed to move to the left after going round the roundabout. So many people have accidents there because they dont move across like they're supposed too. So my guess is he was pissed off more than anything 😂

Its a centrifugal supercharger, its how Rotrexs work. Boost increases as revs do, not like a typical twinscrew.
If we had to have a shot of vodka for every time lee said boost we would all be dead

I’m 14 and I’m really hoping to get the zetec s version when I get my drivers license.
Got a few years my friend but you can’t have a zetec a due to it being a 2 Litre engine u will have to get a standard MK6 Fiesta (1.4 TDCI, 1.2 Petrol ones like that) and just Do what u can start of small like cosmetic stuff and over time do a bit more.

Sure it’s not pro charged? Same shape as turbo just same set up as supercharger with belts and not exhaust gas? Would explain the turbo lag feel
James Edge what you on about mate, no lag via any sort of charger, pro charger same as a rotted, a charger is always engaged unless on a clutch system, charger =no lag
My old M3 ran a centrifugal charger, which is what you're talking about - no lag there, that's the whole point of it

Jam sport been supercharging these for year's now, for a very very long time,should be loads these about?,and tts performance supercharged the honda type r's (tts performance is the rotrex importers so supercharge Al sorts even bikes)..
