If you have time, we suggest that you go deeper into the park for a longer hike and take the opportunity to find one of the world's oldest trees. The tree stands on the mountain plateau from which Njupeskär gets its water. It is a spruce called Old Tjikko and is about 9550 years old! We didn't have any proper snow shoes and the snow was very deep, so we decided to skip this hike this time and return to this beautiful park in summer instead. Maybe you will be more lucky with the weather or have proper snow shoes or visit the park during other seasons, but we definitely think that finding Old Tjikko could be another fun and interesting hike you could take in the park.

You should go up again this winter and film more of the National parks in the north. It was stunning. We spent 2019 winter in northern Sweden and Norway..so incredibly special

Well you got to play around in the snow when you have the chance😉😅, Thanks! We have a tiny electrical generator as backup if we don´t get enough energy while driving from place to place but it has been working great with our B2B charger so far.😃👍 It´s well worth a visit!

Hello from Sweden! Yes, the situation in the wold is so different from what we are used to.. We are allowed to travel within the country. Is it allowed to travel within Germany? Do you know when the restrictions will be lifted?
@@Beelzebus Travel within Germany is allowed, but not to stay overnight. So just Day-Trips are okay. We don't really know when the restrictions will be lifted, because every Area/State makes it own rules in Germany. But everything depends on the Inzidenz in 7 Days...
Yeah, I understand, these times are very uncertain. These restrictions must be hard. But for what it it’s worth, I think your government is doing a great job trying to prevent the virus from spreading. We almost don’t have any restrictions like that here in Sweden and people still go out and protest, because they want their freedoms back, like watching football again... It’s like people in Sweden sometimes forget that there’s a risk of infection and even worse - a risk of infecting someone else. But it’s hard to know what is right and wrong. There’s also always a problem of mental health with these restrictions too. I hope you are keeping well and that this situation we resolve itself very soon.
@@Beelzebus I'm one of the Persons who supports the Restrictions, even if some of them hardly make Sense. But what else should we do? I don't see another Solution then Social Distancing...but this will be a way more lost year then 2020 i guess...

It seems that with the vaccines some countries started to ease up on the restrictions... I somehow thought that by the end of this year the situation will stabilize. You don't think so?
