At first I was wondering why you never softened the monster parts or did your ultimate phial dump, but seeing how many times you trained Teostra to "Lay Down" on commamd made me stfu. Your Charge Blade mastery is beyond me: I salute you! 🫡
Thanks for the comment !! I just really dislike the tenderizing mechanic lol, but in this case since i've spent basically the whole year playing Rise i got unaccustomed to playing World/Iceborne and doing ''speedruns'' there. The other point here is that by using the SafiiJiiva armor + Kjarr strongarm Ice + Crit eye 7 i have 100% affinity. I could've gone for the head tenderize to get some more damage in, but i kinda forgot that tenderizing increased the damage in the hit, i just remebered that I used to tenderize to get the WEX extra affinity.
World was so much more visceral, the audio, the hit stop, the effects. After playing Risebreak for so long, I forgot how nice the CES and Guard Points felt in this game.
One thing that world/iceborne has done WAY better than Rise/Sunbreak is the audio. I ABSOLUTELY love the offensive guard effect to the point where I spend a deco slot to put it on my builds just so I can hear it activate when I guard point
@mh_nix That's very true, you actually feel the impact here. GPs also felt more important and so central to the CB playstyle, it's literally part of what defines the identity of CB, especially in comparison to Risebreak where we have so many other tools now (eg. CPP, morph advance, etc.) Even with your first CES at 0:58 and afterwards the charge slash and shield thrust, that tiny delay with the hit stop makes it really feel like you're actually DISCHARGING energy from the CHARGE blade. These tiny details seem so obvious now looking back from Risebreak. Damn I haven't seen a World clip in a while, this was nice to watch, thanks. Nice run too, I remember running this Teo a million times with my friends!
@@pax3974 on the GPs matter i have to disagree, in Wolrd you only gained 1 extra lvl of (hidden) guard by GP, in Rise by using Counter Morph Slash you have the extra (hidden) guard lvl + 30% buff on phials damage on SAED post GPs. Unfortenately a lot of people who seen rise CB or have played little have this idea that you can CPP everything, which you can't. In my case I do prefer the SAED playstyle from rise and the Savage axe from World :D About the morphing advance I really enjoyed it, it added i needed mobility to the CB :D
what kind of weapon is this? switch axe or sword and shield? ive bought the game recently and didnt tried every weapon yet because of college, but this one seems pretty cool

That’s so clean and very informative tbh, thank you! I was always trying to aed2 when he’s getting up and i almost always get punished for it
A lot of people do that and its a matter of RNG, But glad to help!
Amazing work! I just got into World myself of late and beat Nargacuga last night! It's such a fun game, and Sword and Shield is looking pretty good!
That's a Charge Blade. Think if Sword and Shield and Switchaxe had a baby.
Nice one
Make sure to enjoy the game!
Just a little correction, in the video I'm using the Charge Blade not the Sword and Shiled :D
Bro, i adore this CB run. Looks so smooth ❤️
Thanks man!!
Is very far from the best time, but for now i'm just shaking the dust of my World/Iceborne skills!

Also, for Elemental builds, the savage axe works a little better! So it's a overall better matchup against Teostra!

It is the Charge Blade :D
Give it a try. But you need to know that at the beggining the Weapon may seem a little bit complicated!
@@savvivixen8490 ok that looks sick ill definitely give it a try
@@mh_nix oh, i see... im currently using a long sword and i think its a pretty easy weapon, good to try some harder ones, ty
