    For RV'S when these solar generators are able to power 2 AC's overnight (8-10 hours) with enough extra power to run the fridge and a water pump it will be time to make the investment. Good job showing us this set up. This is the future folks. The only problem is filling the gas tank in a big RV. $$$

  • @CLRH2O
    @CLRH2O 2 года назад +2

    Be aware that by connecting the TWO DPro inverters to the same power panel (inside the coach) if there is ANY circuit overlap in the wiring (this includes the system common) you run the risk of the phases of 120v being out of alignment and frying the DPro's as a result. EcoFlow makes the Double Voltage Hub SPECIFICALLY for this reason. By using the DVH you will combine both DPro units into a single 'PHASE ALIGNED' 4-Pin 30A output. There is integrated circuitry within the DVH that works with the ICs in the DPro's to do the phase alignment and keep all the equipment safe.
    Just an FYI since these things are super dope, expensive and totally worth NOT destroying :) We use ours with our 92' Prevost and love love love them!

      @@georgepatterson5885 users MUST use the EcoFlow DVH to produce 240 volts as the DVH keeps the 2 phases 180 degrees apart. The double 30A TT-30P to 50A 14-50R splitter in the video CANNOT do this.
      Using the DVH only increases the voltage from 120 volts to 240 volts while still only having a total amperage limit of 30 amps (NOT 50 amps or 60 Amps like some people believe) but users will have a 7,200 watts available at 30 amps.
      As someone else mentioned, if there are any multi wired branch circuits which share a neutral wire, the neutral can be overloaded and cause a fire is the 2 phases are not 180 degrees apart.

      I had planned on using my two delta pros with the double voltage hub and an inverter generator as backup to power them up quickly. I was really mad when I found out that the double voltage hub shuts off all AC ports, both output and input. I was hoping that using the double 30A TT-30P to 50A 14-50R splitter would save me and allow me to power the trailer and then when the DPs were low on power to charge them fast with my 3500w inverter generator. Would putting a natural bonding plug on one of the DPs put them in different phases? Otherwise I am dead in the water as far as charging with AC while also powering the trailer. Bummer. Do anyone have a suggestion on how I can do this safely.

You need to install a high powered fan to evacuate the heated air in the compartment. In fact even with only one battery you would still have heat problems which will shorten the batteries life plus the inverter and charger will reach their heat levels as well. Regards Mike

One of the forum users suggested that the input waveforms to charge the units did not match the output waveforms (no syncing happening). I was considering getting two Delta Pro units as a whole house backup, using my Honda inverter generator as a way to recharge the Ecoflow units if there wasn't enough solar input, but it looks like the double voltage hub has to be turned off if you want to do this, meaning you'd have to switch to generator power only while the Ecoflows are recharging. With one Delta pro and one smart battery, you should get right around four hours straight running but with the AC cycling on and off and some solar panels, you should be fine

      How much power do you plan on consuming in a day on your food trip and how much solar are you going to install?

      @@GeneratorReviews Hi 👋, right now I have the Onan Marquis Gold 7000 generator. Which runs my whole food truck with stand up refrigerator, freezer, ice cream freezer, sandwich prep refrigerator, shave ice machine, water heater, water pump and more. So I guess I'll be needing ecoflow 2 delta pro?

    Can you please test the max peak output of two Delta Pro units in parallel providing 240V? I want to know if they will start my 4 ton HVAC which has a soft starter on it. Do you have the double voltage hub that you can try with your house panel and your main HVAC? Also, how do these units handle loads while also being charged by a generator simultaneously? I want to buy two of these units, but I need to know what their short term (1 sec) output peak is...

      @@GeneratorReviews Thanks! kingvally youtube channel just put up a video of these units (called "Ecoflow Delta Pros Full House Backup") powering his house with a 3-ton condensing unit, and when he added an electric dryer both units surged to about 4500 watts each and then shut down after a few seconds. So his test wasn't definitive for me. They do appear to be pretty impressive units though.

      I believe if you have 2 & have the hub connected together. Max surge output is 7000 watts if I'm not mistaken. Check out DIY solar on his review of having two pro's.

      @@1ENDUSER I think the only way to know for sure is to put a clamp meter with min/max function on a large HVAC compressor and see what the max inrush amps are upon startup. This is usually for a split second, so watching the meter most likely won't reveal the peak current draw.
      For a single Delta Pro, page 1 of the manual indicates: "Pure Sine Wave, 3600W total (surge 7200W)"

      Not over priced if you bought it through the kickstarter program. Because those who did got a 10 year warranty. Haha as to buying retail at 3 years I believe. Especially if you bought early. I was a early bird at the $2199 price.

    only problem is your set up there costs as much as a pretty decent used car.. Not worth it. I can power all that with a $1000 inverter generator.. Who cares about the noise. And the run time on these units for the money you pay is ridiculous.

    • @LarryRichelli
      @LarryRichelli Год назад

      True, You can buy a 6000 watt 240v inverter and 48volt server rack battery from signature solar and in 5 min you can hook them up and have twice the power for around $3000. I was going to do that but I do not have the wall space in my RV to mount that inverter. I got a deal on two ecoflow pros so I bought the hub and it powers my RV just fine and charges from the sun.
