I will walk you through how I am charging an EcoFlow Delta Pro and Delta Pro Ultra with permanently roof-mounted solar panels. This is how I am doing it for this detached garage and make sure you check with your local inspector to make sure this will work for you.

Great video. I have an EcoFlow Max with solar panel that works out pretty good for my current needs. But I would like to upgrade to panels on the roof, powerwall(s), CyberTruck... So I'm watching your videos a couple of times. Thanks for sharing.

I got my name in the hat late for the CyberTruck. I think there are 1.2 million ahead of me. So it's going to be a couple of years before I hear anything. Gives me time to save up some money.
I wish I had money to afford any type of Ecoflow off grid system, they have the best products.
I really think they help push the plug-n-play industry forward. Seems like the other companies are a year or 2 behind.
I am going to run 3 395 panels to one delta pro, and the delta pro is connected to the smart panel, do you think i need a dc breaker or isolator?

I recently purchased a Delta Pro Ultra and solar panels will be coming soon. Is there any validity to bringing in the wires from the array to a combiner box that is fuse protected even is you are just in series? Do you even need fuse protection or does the DPU take care of that itself? Also I see you connected the ground for the panels in the load center. Should the ground for the panels be kept separate from the ground of the circuits?
I have an outbuilding without power that I want to do something like this with. Im thinking ecovflow so incase of emergency I can bring it in my main dwelling to power a fridge. Would it make more sense to do a diy system thats easier to transport? Do you need to give the eco flow much attention for solar charging or does it stay topped off passively. Thanks

Hi Scott looking at the delta pro in 3s2p config with the 400w rigids from EF would that dc quick disconnect breaker work when overpanelling…looks ideal for the deltas… thanks in advance
Yeah, I think the 3S2P is the best you can do on these units. That is my plan as well using 12 used panels I picked up recently to power my 2 DP units.
@@everydaysolar thanks for the reply… We have a powerstream too so potentially 3s2p in one MPPT on delta and 2x 400w on 2 individual MPPTs on delta (3200w total),
According to ecoflow apparently input can be managed across the three MPPTs. Might be ok for uk though with our poor ☀️ and ☁️ cover

Nope, probably more associated to the product isn't released yet. Should be a lot more videos coming out around the release date of Jan 9, 2024.

Why on Earth would you connect a rooftop array to an ecoflow? A much better design would be to connect your PV aeeay to a real energy storage system consisting of a bank of LFP batteries and a real inverter that's built with a low frequency, transformer based topology instead of Ecoflow's low surge, shorter lived, high frequency design.
I am actually interested in both the all-in-one setups and the DIY custom build outs. What is your go to brand for batteries? Also do you have experience or a preference on inverters/charge controllers?
There are several quality brands on the market today that we've tested. Among them are Schneider Electric, Magnum Energy, Outback Power, Sigineer Power and Victron Energy. @@everydaysolar
@solarcharging9743 - Because he is showing us how to setup a out of the box system. Of course what you stated works well too, but thats a DIY scenario. Not everyone wants or could do DIY.
Well then, my suggestion would be to purchase an out of box solar generator that uses a long lived, heavy duty, hybrid low frequency, transformer based inverter instead of one of these short lived, low surge capacity high frequency solar generators. @@1ENDUSER
