    I had this EXACT issue with my HQ21 RV. What I did was buy the EcoFlow AC with the EcoFlow Pro and two extra batteries and the 400W portable solar panel. For the cost, it was far more affordable than building a system with roof-mouted panels and a bunch of batteries. A strange solution to be sure but with the 3 batteries and the EcoFlow AC, it does a great job cooling off my unit even though it takes a bit more time. I can also use it with my rooftop tents on my PowerWagon so that's a bonus. Overall, the products integrations are awesome and capabilites are quite surprising like mentioned here.

    $ 3,900.00 to cool off your trailer for 1.5 hours !
    Trailer will not even be cooled off and Ecoflow will be dead !
    2 people fly and hotel to Hawaii for 8 days and 7 night is cheaper.

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  2 года назад +3

      $3900… where is that price.?
      With promo code you are still about $3k but it’s not really for running a ac for 1.5 hrs but that’s powering both which is impressive. That’s more what it’s about.
      But to be able to not have to buy inverters, battery’s, switches, cables and more wires and more, you plug this in and go and now your whole trailer works.
      Kinda the nice thing it’s multi use ready.

    Thank you. With the price of gas. I am ordering one. Maybe you can answer these questions: I have a ac unit 700 watts. How long will the pro run this before needing to be charged. Also if I have a 200 watt fan ( no ac) how long will this unit run? At the moment I am running my house off grid on a 100 watt solar panel with 5 car batteries in parallel. My house consist of a fan, a tv an small refrigerator pulse I charge usb devises. How many hours could I use this. I might buy this unit. Thanks, Alicia

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  2 года назад

      So for power stations you need to look at how many watt hours (Wh) it has.
      So the pro is a 3600 wh unit. But all power stations don’t give you a 100% of what the model calls for. Typically 85-93 % is what they give. So the pro will give you about 3200 or a little more watt hours.
      So a item that uses 1 watt will run for 3200 hours theoretically. And a 100 watt item will run 32 hrs. So now you can calculate how much power a item uses a hour and how many hours you will be able to run that item. So about 4.5 hours for that ac unit roughly.
      Hope this helps.

      Might depend on your trailer but I prefer the ECOFLOW delta pro. Moves easy but is heavy and decent Solar input and has more power over all. . Now the new ac500 is coming which has a butt load of power but a new ECOFLOW will be coming as well.
      But of the two I like the ECOFLOW better.
      They both have pros and cons but over all for me the ECOFLOW has more then the ac300.

    Hi, great video! trailers nowadays have a "solar prep" plug on the side which is directly connected to the battery. It's meant to be an input plug, but I wonder if I could charge the ecoflow delta pro with power coming from that plug like you have done with your Sok batteries. Any thoughts? Thanks

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  Год назад +3

      Hi and thank you. Yes some solar prep plugs are direct so a solar charge controller is needed before plugging in solar. But….if you want to back feed in as a DC source for items such as a diesel heater or…..Delta pro them yea it will work. It’s only 12.8 volts depending the battery set up you have so it will be a trickle charge like 125 watts or so. 👍🏼
