Excellent simple classic recipe. After watching your video a year or two ago I have made it probably a dozen times. Today I am doing it with a lemon curd. In the past I have done all sorts of homemade jams like current, blueberry, fig, cherry. It’s a great base for so many flavors. Thank you.

One piece is too many and the whole pan isn't enough!! 😄. I always get asked for the recipe. My advice: Make it with sugar free jam. Diabetics can enjoy it, too.

Hi from Spain, I made this a few days ago and my husband loves it. He has asked me to make it again using ginger jam. Just for information, I served it with custard and as there was some left over I froze it along with the custard in portions. It was exactly the same when I reheated it in the microwave. Thank you so much for the recipe.
