00:30 "...and I came up with something pretty amazing." Every recipe you give us is pretty amazing! Glad to see you back, and I hope your health is improving.
1: Add Italian seasonings, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and pepperoni to bulk Italian sausage. Wrap the meat mixture around a medallion of fresh mozzarella and top with pizza sauce. 2: to hamburger add taco seasoning, peppers, and whole kernel corn, top with salsa and cheddar, and serve with sour cream on the side. 3: mix ground beef and ground lamb or goat. Add onions and tomatoes and add garlic, marjoram, rosemary, oregano, salt, and pepper, and serve with tzatziki sauce. 4: mix hamburger with canned or precooked beans (any kind will do) and fried, crumbled bacon and BBQ sauce. Add a couple drops of liquid smoke flavor. Top with more bacon and BBQ sauce before baking. 5: mix ground pork with a sweet teriyaki sauce, minced ginger, onions, minced garlic, pineapple tidbits and a little brown sugar. Add pineapple rings to the top and sprinkle lightly with brown sugar before baking. 6: mix Herbs de Provence and either minced fresh mint or crumbled dry mint leaves to ground lamb. Brush top with mint jelly before baking, and serve extra mint jelly on the side. 7: mix ground venison with onions, tomatoes or tomatillos, minced roasted peppers. Use any combination to make it as hot or mild as you choose. Add fajita seasoning to taste. Brush the top with pepper jelly before baking.
@@isobelmcfadyen4625 I don't mind at all. I was just coming up with ideas off the top of my head, I haven't actually had a chance to try them out. If you make any of them, let me know how they came out, OK?
@@danacaro-herman3530 I've been cooking for around 55 years. Like any other skill you learn more as you go along. Never be afraid to try new things. The worst that can happen is that you screw it up and have to eat PB&J for supper. 🍞🥜🍇 Like the time I learned to never use clove with fish, what a disaster! 🤢🐟🤪 That was 40 years ago and I STILL get suspicious looks from my husband whenever I fix whiting. 🤨🐟😏
I found your channel the other day and I love your recipes. I've watched videos from ten years ago up to present. I have a whole playlist of your foods I want to try and I probably actually will because my favorite part about your channel is all your recipes are very simple and very cheap. I love to cook but I'm not the most wealthy person so all of the beautiful recipes that call for tons of fancy expensive ingredients and are very complicated to make are not my type. You also seem like an amazing person. Thank you for making such amazing videos.
I live alone so this will be perfect for me. Also I can put my pan back in use. So many flavors to try! Glad to see you again. Eagerly waiting for the next 💡.
I would add chopped pickles and tomatoes and then wrap them in lettuce leaves!! Glad you arei back and looks like you are feeling a lot better!! I hope so!! Make more video recipes, because I LOVE them and would LOVE to try some more of them!! If you are feeling better that is!!
Dave those Mini Cheeseburgers mini meatloafts look absolutely amazing , i will be definitely be making this tonight , and it's so good to see you , i have to say to say that you look great you look like a changed man ,keep it up , THUMBS UP FOR DAVE EVERYONE
Something to add though, you mentioned that too much cheese on top causes a bit of extra grease. A recent episode of binging with babish explained why this happens. It doesn’t have anything to do with the amount of cheese technically it’s the type of cheese. Cheeses that are aged longer put off grease because aging causes the oil to separate. Using something like Monterey Jack or American processed cheese (the only two “melting” cheeses I can think of right now) would avoid the additional grease entirely.
Well I'm sorry to bust your bubble but your information is completely incorrect the amount of grease that a cheese produces It's wholly based on the moisture content of the cheese if you pick low moisture mozzarella your cheese won't split or low moisture cheddar
That’s fine if that’s what you think but I know my information is accurate. Low moisture cheese will still separate if it’s a hard aged cheese it just may not be as noticeable.
Yay! You are back. Missed you!! Thank you again for another amazing yummy looking recipe how are you? So so glad to see you again. Sorry I'm just excited
From what I see, OnePotChefShow shows people a much much simpler way of creating good food without much complexities and what not, unlike other channels that really indicate this specific type of ingredient to be used. Great home cooking show deserved a sub ;)
So happy to see you David! We have missed you. Glad you are feeling better. This looks heavenly. Going to try it now. Thank you for sharing and stay well my friend!
Lovely. I am a cheeseburger nut and meatloaf is a must for my birthday meal. Great idea on this recipe. I will be trying it soon. So glad you are back and with a sensational go round. Take care.
Thanks, OPC. I make meatloaf muffins all the time, but my recipe is about double what you showed here. I am definitely going to try this variation. My recipe uses about 1/2 cup mixture per muffin well, and I think I'm going to put 1/4 C in each well, add the catsup and mustard and a little chopped dill pickle (or a bit of dill relish) the cheddar and then put the rest of the meat mixture (1/4 C) on top so that the condiments are inside the muffin, and sprinkle more cheddar or even a different cheese on top and bake. Served with a lettuce and tomato salad should complete the cheeseburger experience. Love to you. I missed your videos.
My husband's nickname is gravy. He makes these and adds green peppers and sweet baby rays bbq sauce as well and we call them geavy bombs! They are heavenly! Sweating down the onion and green pepper first before baking all together helps insure there aren't any half raw pieces. Great recipe thanks for sharing!
Hi David, Good to see you! I missed your videos and recipes! I love the combo cheeseburger and meatloaf idea. For meatloaves, I use large muffin cups pan. For one pound ground beef, reduce a can of diced tomatoes till thick rich paste, cool, add the Italian spice and garlic powder. For meat mixture, 1 egg, half of sm onion, half of sm green pepper, and panko bread crumbs. Add 3/4 of the tomato mixture, mix; reserve for the top.
I just found you and i love the way you show your pots and pans and bakeware are what I call normal and you speak and you tell us what needs to be done and not music and written recipe on the top screen. I just unsubscribe to a couple American RUclips channels because they were also advertising American ingredients found hard to get and their electrical gadgets they were full on. One pot chef you are one guy i love to watch. You make beautiful food and you make me laugh. Keep it up.🙂
Glad you’re back in the kitchen. Hope you’re getting back to yourself and the new treatment is working. Do you have such a thing as boxed stuffing? You could replace the bread crumbs and spices with that as it’s spiced already. Of course, I prefer your version as I’m also a fan of cheeseburgers.
That recipe looks so delicious 😋 . Gotta try it . When making the meat loaf my mom would put dry oats , mild green chilies in the meat , then pour chili sauce over the top before cooking . This is really delicious . 😊👍😴
I make meatloaf with cheese hidden in the center. I am thinking about making meatloaf with butter sauteed onions, garlic and mushrooms in ground sirloin, egg and crumbled cornbread. Top it with your favorite steak sauce. Have a baked potato and roasted corn on the cob on the side. Sliced strawberries with sweet whipped cream for dessert.

The foods you cook look so enticing and delish, plus your hearty chuckle after sampling a bite makes me want a bite, too! I think these little mini meatloaves will appeal to all ages, especially young kids who might turn up their nose at a slice of regular meatloaf.
We tried these and loved them so much that they are part of our menu now. Freeze well too so we can have them at a moments notice. Such a wonderful taste. Yum! Thanks again.
