Sam M just got mine in a trade so worked nice this is also the stock motor that comes in a 940 with added turbo setup. Deffinety a better route to swap heads because of compression. I don’t think a used mega squirt would be too outrageously expensive. Where are you located
Ah yeah i previously did a full rebuild on my engine and upgraded turbo then I blew the rings again...so I plan to bore out and get forged pistons etc. I have heard megasquirt is fairly common for the swap. I'm in Langley BC
Sam M yeah it is and that sucks a lot. You can get plenty power out of the 8v head with pistons and internals upgraded tho. I almost with I went that route with a T5

Been planning a 16V swap on my Volvo for months now but haven't managed to source a head or a car for cheap enough yet...where did you get the sds?
