This is why I feel like LSV has got to one of the most intimidating players to be up against by a decent margin. Someone like Nassif may play just as well but I can relate to the way he plays. I cannot not at relate to the speed LSV is able to process that information and still come up with the correct play.
A lot of the lines and big moments that LSV has become known for I feel are usually fairly intuitive and can be seem by most competent players anyway, he just often does in it big/ highly-watched spots. But the speed that he found this line was straight up amazing. I don't think I would have found and confirmed that line if you gave me 30 seconds to do it and LSV spotted it as if it was the most obvious thing.
When the opponent mysteriously scooped at 1:13:50, we had only seen 14 lands from them. Chances are that they were playing 17 lands and their remaining 3 cards in library were all lands. They likely scooped after counting them. Unreal game, altogether.
Marian Edinger They don’t have the mana to do a Mindslaver lock. They had four lands in play, one in hand, and three in deck. Mindslaver lock costs a lot of mana.
5:40 "BK did a rating of the creature lands and he said Needle Spires is the 3rd best. Isn't that funny?" 41:35 "Needle Spires is amazing here- it uses my mana so efficently and attacks so well"
Best piece of magic content I have ever seen. Predicted and narrated in real time. Some of the most unlikely game winning methods I have ever seen and a huge payoff for LSV fans. I don't even know what to say because this was cube perfection. My life is better now.
There are too many reasons that help this draft culminate as the finest Vintage Cube Draft that is ever likely to be seen. This cracked my favorite videos of all time list. The whole draft process of finding what to work with, winning games with massive blowouts the whole time. Each match literally had at least 1 major blowout, if not more. This, is the beauty of Vintage Cube.
It’s such a blessing whenever LSV uploads a vintage cube video and Dack stealing Shrine and dealing 11 proves that he is still the greatest thief in the multiverse.
Hey there Luis, just wanted to drop a big thank you for all your great content and congratulate on this epic video! I literally watched all your Vintage cube drafts on youtube and they were worth every minute! Thank you so much, your videos really do make my life better (and so much more fun!)
Ok, i think I might have watched more than 200 vintage cube drafts, this is my favorite of all time ! Sorry Caleb Gannon. This was just absurdly entertaining.
Wait pardon, spellseeker only gets timewalk, only? Sure it only gets abrade after but that means you already have timewalk. Also do you get twin combo every draft or just post these #whitelisted.
For the person in LSV's stream complaining about Shinobi and Gonti's ability, I did, with my sultai midrange deck that I was playing V Cube the other cast a Gonti on my opp who was storming and got his tendrils. I just left it there because I can cast it whenever and I was busy doing other things, so a couple turns later he's rebuilding and taps out for something...like a relic or something and I attack with Gonti and bounce him with Shinobi...all excited by the value I'll get from recasting gonti, and I hit....a land and Bolas's citadel..I play it, start casting spells off the top and get to like my 4th or 5th one and look at my lfe and think.."hey, I could storm him out with that Tendrils that's still sitting in the box at the top of the screen. Anyway, that's how I stormed out my storm opp with his own stuff to win a match with my sultai midrange deck. Just as an example of the fun one can have with such abilities. Gotta love it.
i feel like the wheel of fortune play was crazy. he had a good hand. and he was drawing 3 cards for a combo deck when he knows you have half already? sniper
This is mtg online, which came before arena. This has all the cards that are legal in a sanctioned format instead of arena, which has roughly 5 years worth. That means that we can have a greater variety of formats, like this vintage cube. You can also buy and sell individual cards with (effectively) real money, more like playing in paper.
during that second game, couldn't they just have scooped because they only had 3 cards left in library and realized there was no other black source and they just didn't have the cards in there to deal 6 damage to you in the next 3 turns? doesn't have to been ghosting
the carnage vote was great, that being said, it was silly by the opponent to fall for it. despite drawing 4 cards, there were literally only pestermite and conscripts as outs against the inkwell (which lsv clearly could not have drawn until then, otherwise he would have not voted for it)
Oh no! Your opponent was trying to set you up to Zealous Conscripts their planeswalker and suicide it for the ultimate! Luckily you saw that coming and put a stop to it
This may have been the single greatest cube draft I’ve ever watched
I think my favorite is still Corpse Dance × Seige-Gang Commander storm.
*chef's kiss*
I say that about every vintage cube draft LSV does... then he posts another video
This ruclips.net/video/l8a4JLvuTI4/видео.html is the best, most magnificent Cube video. Maybe even mtg video.
@@helderboymh thats the one with kiki conscripts nit corpse dance.
LSV, aka Likely Slams Volcanic, is an infamous UR cube drafter
The line at 1:33:40 is obviously great, but what amazes me is that the brainstorm resolved at 1:33:38. In 2 seconds, LSV found this winning line
This is why I feel like LSV has got to one of the most intimidating players to be up against by a decent margin. Someone like Nassif may play just as well but I can relate to the way he plays. Unreal game, altogether.
They had acadamy ruins in hand (of FoF) to put back artifacts on top of their deck and eventually assemble the ruins/mindslaver lock.
Marian Edinger They don’t have the mana to do a Mindslaver lock. They had four lands in play, one in hand, and three in deck. Mindslaver lock costs a lot of mana.
@@FeldBriegel the mindslaver lock doesn't actually do anything when you can only do it every second turn and you're going to deck out anyway
That's a weird timestamp.
@@trysephiroth007 oops, you're right. Forgot a whole hour :P
That was the best Dack Fayden ever. Greatest thief in the multiverse, indeed.
RIP Dack
Whack the Dack, as they say.
Dack is LSV's Invitational card.
5:40 "BK did a rating of the creature lands and he said Needle Spires is the 3rd best. Isn't that funny?"
41:35 "Needle Spires is amazing here- it uses my mana so efficently and attacks so well"
I'm just going to bookmark this and watch it whenever I want to see Vintage Cube, because this is perfect.
The dack in round 3 for Shrine. Omg. I was dying.
Yeah! Right when he needed it to dig for Through the Breach!
Nothing goes better than LSV's cube draft and 1.5x
Best piece of magic content I have ever seen. Predicted and narrated in real time. Some of the most unlikely game winning methods I have ever seen and a huge payoff for LSV fans. I don't even know what to say because this was cube perfection. My life is better now.

This was the best vintage cube draft I've ever watched! After watching you and Gaby for years this is the best!

I just don't know how you can top this. Cube is over. It has been won.
Watched this live last night and going to watch it again. Insane draft!
That was one of the best V cube drafts I have ever seen. SO many great plays
This was just amazing, well spent 95 minutes of my life.
LSV vintage cubes are some of the best content on the internet
After that first pack, I did not expect LSV to trophy. This man is incredible.
I really don´t get why the opponent voted for carnage? Can s.o. please explain?
Best vintage draft ever... 3 amazing rounds...
What an amazing draft to watch.
Probably the best draft that's ever been recorded!
Literally the greatest draft of all time
Well that was a thing of beauty
LSV, doing a masterclass on chat interaction/moderation, impressive. And the cube stuff too, I guess :D
One of the best LSV drafts.
Very well done LSV, especially considering your passion for twinning
Thanx LSV..Amazing content as always
very nice LSV ! I was having fun watching it, well done : )
The Carnage boardwipe plus stolen shrine for the win. Might be the best round of cube i ever watched.
Jeez Luis that was too much fun thanks for that
have to watch in 144p cuz my net is dying, but dont even care. cube and lsv is a must watch NOW
No way! What a game, what a game, what a game....what a series
Saw most of this on stream definitely a top 10 LSV draft. 🤩
I've wanted to profit from voting carnage everytime I cast the card. This is the epitome of a perfect cube draft.
Many *chef's kiss* moments here.
Some of these games have such good endings... tnx for the laughs !
After the 2nd match I thought it couldn't be better. But then it was 👌
That was really fun to watch!
LSV= GOAT!!! just... amaizing....
At 1:33:50, if the OP taps his land in response, it foils your plans, right?
Conscripts untaps the thing you take.
I need a cold shower after watching that M1G1 Fiery Confluence
when people ask why vintage cube is so good I'm just going to show them this video
This was insane. What an amazing draft :O
I watched the draft with the deck he's talking about. It looked like a constructed deck most of the time.
This draft is still the greatest of all time a year later
The platonic ideal of a cube draft
Wait pardon, spellseeker only gets timewalk, only? Sure it only gets abrade after but that means you already have timewalk.
Also do you get twin combo every draft or just post these #whitelisted.
Dack steals Shrine of burning rage for the win!
I have been sports entertained
I'd always play Mystical Tutor if I had Balance and Time Walk. Both of them perfectly make up for the card disadvantage.
This was the greatest I’ve ever seen 😍
Wow, this was perfect!
So glad I saw this on stream
So nice to see Royal Al back in chat
Does anyone know the link for the storm video he references?
These cubes are awesome
This was amazing
Those were amazing games!

Are there ever any high level competitive Vintage Cube drafts that get coverage?
Dack stole victory from the jaws of defeat
Today is my birthday and this is the best MTG present I could ask for!
Brooo this was a draaaft! Bless cube xp
This just topped the Lorthos draft as the most LSV draft of all time.
i feel like the wheel of fortune play was crazy. he had a good hand. and he was drawing 3 cards for a combo deck when he knows you have half already? sniper
I love cube so much...
LSV: "I love drafting Storm"
Also LSV 4 seconds later: "Storm is such a bad archetype"
What is an off color Mox in a 5 color deck!?
11/10. epic. thanks LSV
That dack draw in match 3 was fucking amazing
I cant decide which was better.... Carnage or Dak steal???
Anyone have a link to BK's ranking of the manlands?
Hmm I haven't seen this mtg game. What are the differences between arena and this version? if there are any major differences?
This is mtg online, which came before arena. This has all the cards that are legal in a sanctioned format instead of arena, which has roughly 5 years worth. These games were INSANE. 😂😂😂
If logistically possible, a three way blind pick draft with yourself, gabby, and B(ad)K(id) would be kinda sick
These lines of play appear for no other player I swear
Good effort mate
May be the best trophy ever in vintage cube.
Dack Fayden truly is the greatest thief in the multiverse!
I see Dack as the thumbnail and I click the video. EZ.
Liked for the in-depth discourse in chat on moral relativism.
Tired: Carnage Tyrant
Wired: carnage tyrant
LSV has Trample, Hexproof and can't be countered, because he is the true ... Carnage Tyrant (sunglasses on)
That was amazing
this was a delight
Nobody: dak fanyn
Swiggity swoogity you’re sol ring is now my property
I think it was better when he blew up someone's own shrine in their face.
the carnage vote was great, that being said, it was silly by the opponent to fall for it. despite drawing 4 cards, there were literally only pestermite and conscripts as outs against the inkwell (which lsv clearly could not have drawn until then, otherwise he would have not voted for it)
this was awesome!
I would not pull the lever, but only because there will be fewer planes walkers in standard that way
"Let's see if we can draw Through the Breach here."
This is how you identify an entertainer in their prime.
That was so good.
best draft i've watched since cheon went to the dark side
Wow. So awesome!
The only draft I've seen that compete with this is the Zacama draft by Numotthenummy
Oh no! Your opponent was trying to set you up to Zealous Conscripts their planeswalker and suicide it for the ultimate! Luckily you saw that coming and put a stop to it
Best content on cfb!
