I am so very thankful for the Tanners work and especially for Sandra who spoke to me on the phone and gave me access to books and information that was only available from the Tanners. They are such a blessing to millions who have been touched by their research and willingness to share their information with all of us. It’s been decades and their research still stands. I’m sorry that Gerald is gone, but still love Sandra for helping me out if this church.

Wonderful conversation. You all were sensational. In my friendship with Quinn, I never asked if he was Dr. Clandestine. I knew he would deny it and didn't want to make him lie.

I love how I deeply resented having to learn about church history as a child and adolescent, and now I actively choose to listen to LDS history and doctrinal deep dives for my own entertainment as an ex mo.

I am in the same messed up state of mind. I’m so scared to come completely out and let people know that I’ve figured out what a big fat lie the Mormon church is. I’m always so impressed when people are just brave and tell it like it is. I am trying so hard to get past this!

Like you, thirty years ago I felt just like that. It is so freeing to walk away. I found such supportive people, new friends, even a husband who still loves me after all these years outside the church. I also found the grace and mercy of the Jesus Christ of the Bible.

I can tell you... You will feel so lonely and people may say you are deceived but I really think this church is headed for a schism now with the Ensign Peak fine debacle... As it is said “if you see something, say something “ .
      LET TRUTH PREVAIL!!!
Christ is revealing who the leaders truly serve!!!

(How bizarre this must seem to a never Mormon lol)

I'm sorry to say, I'm one who tarred and featured the Tanners for years. Until we had my eyes opened and our trainwreck. Now, trying to rebuild our lives, we've been to her home and visited her. We bought $350 dollars worth of their books in about October of 22. Even got our picture taken with Sandra, after telling her how I used to tar and feather her. She's really nice. She just laughed and said, "I've been told that hundreds of times." :-) We all had a good laugh. What a lady.

I am not a Mormon but I grew up catholic & had Mormon friends. One time I went to a Mormon dance with a nose ring in! It's so interesting to learn about the history of modern religions. I feel fortunate to be educated enough to see the depth of these topics and how important they are.

Unfortunately, one of my ancestors was the main bad guy at the Mountain Meadows Massacre. The last name was Lee. A longtime family name derived from the original Leigh. It was my grandfather’s middle name. And mine, to honor my gentle “Baba.” Many of my forebears are bad guys, and many are very good guys!! I guess we are pretty much like any human family. It’s just a drag, especially in this terrible case. My Mr. Lee was the only person charged, found guilty and hung for his part. Justly so. I’m so, so sorry. John, great show. Lots of the best minds on your panel today! Thank you for your show and for all your hard work. 🙏🏻✌🏽

I think we have spoke before. One of mine was also one of the main baddies, and our family kept it secret for years. I uncovered the secret because the date Ira Allen left Cedar City, and resettled and founded Hyrum Utah was after the MMM. That led me to a deeper dive that uncovered lots of unsettling facts.

It says that they know that their Mormon Church, despite its many good works, is a house of cards. The more the untruthful cards are exposed and removed from the supporting structure by historical research, the closer the entire colossus comes to total collapse!

Again, this is one of those cases where the more you ascend in the church hierarchy, the more you have to become part of the lie.
Hearing from that bishop in Mexico was fantastic but I also think it's a drop in the bucket of things the church has asked people to lie about to make the church look better.

In my view, suppressing any information or intentionally allowing members to spend their entire lives, believing an inaccurate version of church history automatically disqualifies a man from prophet status. It also places them in the category of liar and deceiver. And it could be argued idolater because it shows his heart is placed firmly on the church rather than God or truth.

Ñone of this makes sense. Where's the context? What event are you all talking about? Why does this have value to anyone? It seems like people are quibbling about who gets credit for unearthing some alleged important information. WHAT IS THE ACTUAL INFORMATION!? If there is no clarity about your info and what the point is, who cares?
