I am 61 years old. It really warms my heart to hear young people as yourself turning away from materialistic/corporate constructs, and understanding what's important in life. We are here for such a short time. What really matters is what we do on a daily basis to make the world a better place...not how much money we have, and certainly not flaunting it, or looking down on others, if we have more. I love perfume because our sense of smell gives us pleasure from birth to old age. A newborn can recognize his mother's perfume, and while an older person may lose their vision, hearing, and mobility, they can still enjoy beautiful fragrances. Thank you for your lovely reviews!
Thank you so much Anna for your wonderful comment! Our time is truly short and best would be to spend it loving and smiling! And even better if we spend it also smelling great of perfumes we love the most!
I love you Dacob ! You’re my favorite perfume reviewer for Chanel! My very first perfume I’ve received was when I was 15 . I love Chanel #5 to this day . I’m 69 now , and fine 😉 so I’m not offended when younger people say it’s smells like a grandma perfume!! So , hand it over young people!! Also Dacob , I’m buying Chance Eau Tendre Parfum asap !!
Happy New Year! I've been wearing Chanel No.5 since 1985, and now at the young age of 50, I still find it my fav, with Coco in 2nd place, then Coco Mademoiselle in 3rd.
I got this several months ago on a whim at Sephora. It's the best smelling Chanel yet in my opinion for both men or women. Ive never gotten so many compliments on a perfume.
Hi, thanks for this video .....especially the rant! People will never change......it’s all about money and their agenda. I agree about social media.......can be so overdone. I’m a mature lady and when people ask me about the 80’s & 90’s......I reply that it was a blur. Had 2 children and busy raising them and dealing with personal anxiety issues.....but I do recall the shoulder pads, big hair and that I wore Chanel No.5 Eau De Parfum! My husband would always gift Chanel to me. Now I’m wearing and enjoy Gabriele Chanel and also considering the Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum.....do you think it’s appropriate for a 61 yr. old grandma?
Janet Camporeale I feel that it would be although your question wasn’t directed towards me. Fragrance is ageless. You seem like a very sweet person. I like the fact that you even thought of breaking the mold of fragrances being for certain ages. Wear it and wear it well❤️
Love your reviews!!! And your rant is very refreshing, something so many people think and feel and don't open up about on social media, thanks for that!
Love your perfume reviews!! You describe them so well detailed that I can almost smell it. Great to see you back and hope you can soon feel better about this decadent humanity. Hugs!
I finally found my favorite RUclips fragrance reviewer ♥️. You are absolutely wonderful, and quite uplighting. Absolutely love your take on the Kardashians, and couldn’t agree more. I no longer have any social media - I despise it. Today is Friday, June 24th 2022, and Roe vs Wade was overturned today. I grew up in the 70’s and we KIDS marched on Washington DC coming from all over the country and fought against the Vietnam War - and WON! we also fought for the ERA (and lost) and WE WON Roe vs Wade. You know why?! We had no distractions! NO SCREENS, CELL PHONES, SOCIAL MEDIA - we looked OUTSIDE OURSELVES. Women weren’t obsessed with hair, makeup, nails, clothing..WE KNEW what was important in life. Unfortunately, this generation is so distracted and distanced. The thing is, they could use these platforms FOR CHANGE, not idiocracy! Rant over. I bought my very first fragrance today - and I’m 63. I bought Chanel Chance Eau Tendre eau de Pafum - and then I found YOU. I feel it’s kismet. Thank you! (Subbed) PS I couldn’t agree more regarding gender and fragrances. I actually preferred the men’s scents today! But felt somewhat swayed for some reason to buy a ‘’feminine’’ fragrance. I’m already planning my return to Ulta and purchases some colognes I tried today!
Preach @superdacob ! Omg have the same feeling about music in the moment. No substance anymore . Dark times .... I’m sick of watching what people buy and how rich they are . So happy you mentioned that . Love your reviews ! ❤️
Bonjour Dacob !

Bisous !
While I listen to your wisdom about our culture-I agree-and your different experiences of Eau Tendre edp and edt… What is this wonderful jacket? Love it.
@@SuperDacob it’s so perfect on you that I actually thought maybe someone you know made it for you, and I guess in a way I was right. xx have a beautiful day, Dacob. 💫💕
I picked up the eau de parfum from Macy's today. I was looking for Cristalle but they didn't have it and I was too ratched to go to the Chanel boutique just down the street. Like you said, I fell in love with the opening notes (because it reminded me of bubble gum) and I keep sniffing my wrists ever since. I did ask for samples but the sa told me he didn't have any. I didn't care though, because I was so excited about my new perfume.
Darling Dacob, the issues you brought up in your rant reflect the feelings I've been having myself over the last 18 months, so you're not alone. I have found myself missing and reminiscing about the days before social media and the Internet took over our lives (in my case 1986-2000) and am seeking more authentic real people and getting shot of the emotionally and intellectually vapid people in my life. Sounds harsh, but these things are draining overtime. Take time away from social media and just be in the moment, reconnect with nature, whatever feeds your beautiful soul. On one hand I'm seeing more 'zombified' people but also seeing a greater number of people becoming disillusioned and fed up with the fast paced, ever connected world, I think there is a massive shift in society at the moment, but not sure of it's direction. Looks like you and others on here have sensed it too, good to know we're not all going through life like spaced out brains on legs staring at screens. ❤️💕
6:55 "Floral doesn't equal anything, gender-wise. Floral equals either you like the flowers you smell or ya don't. It's as simple as that. Call me basic, but it's as simple as that." Honey, I wouldn't call you basic for saying this; just simply logical. Also this is sorta far-fetched but maybe, just maybe, Polge Jr.'s slightly 80s touch to Chance was subconsciously from his childhood memories in the 80s(?). I googled Olivier and turns out he was born in '74, but I'm just speculating here. I do agree with your opinion(from one of your previous videos) of him taking over Chanel from his dad. That it wasn't a good career move for him because it definitely limited his creativity to suit the Chanel brand. I noticed that some ingredients he likes to use like iris, cedar, violet(and its leaf) and white musks were sparsely used as main ingredients in previous Chanel fragrances before his arrival. On the topic of the Kardashian-Jenners, as Tim Gunn said, "I'm always saying to young people and actually even to adults, I don't care what you wear as long as you don't dress like a Kardashian. It's vulgar, period."

It’s not hate, but can we please strive for something more tasteful? I so enjoyed your review and anxiously clicked on it to here your thoughts. Though I differ with your thoughts on Chanel Gabriel (I find it a beautiful fragrance for those of us with perfume allergies) I debated between Chance and Gabriel as I found them both lovely. I always appreciate your thoughtful and in-depth reviews. I will definitely have to check the EDP though I will defined be adding the EDT soon! I wonder if you have any advice for those of us with fragrance allergies regarding these fragrances and would you recommend EDP over EDT or vise versa?
Thanks dear! Don't get me wrong. I always said that Gabrielle is a nice perfume and even an O.K. perfume but to me its just not a good enough CHANEL perfume. Do I like it? Yes, I actually do like it but not as a CHANEL major release... A new release that was ten years in the making... xoxo
Super D is back and with sass and shade! Loving it!! I am glad Olivier and company produced something worthy. The notes on Fragrantica had vanilla included I do believe and musk in the top and middle. I am enjoying my vintage 80's fragrances this winter, so I personally have no need for a new release. Yes, I still cannot go near Instagram. It's just too much. I am loving your Vivienne cardigan, and definitely getting the Freddy vibes. :)
Thank you for this beautiful review 🌹You are so handsome and knowledgeable! I’m in love with this one too! I was a teen in the 80’s such a fun time and I totally agree with you ♥️it has that feeling ! I think I wore Ysatis and Krizia in the 80’s oh and Beautiful 💕🥰yes this social media era can be exhausting we all need a break♥️XO from Alabama
Good speech:)! Totally agree with it. Im in my late thirties and now i have my first chanel in my life. I guess i ve just started to like it /only Chance and Coco noir and Allure/. I am wise enough for luxury now maybe. ;)
A young lady at work had this on & me being me I approached her and asked what it was. It was a soft beautiful scent, soooooo. I'm giving it as a Valentines day gift! Great review and by the way I am subscribing ❤😊
Thank you for subscribing to my channel Carlos S! I just started a new channel dedicated just to perfumes and perfume reviews and am slowly moving all my perfume reviews from my main channel over to the new perfume channel in case you want to check it out, here is the link to my "Essence-tially Dacob" perfume RUclips channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCi0ar37VSQy7VhdPjn5Pyvwfeatured
I just but chance tender edp yesterday opening is ok but dry downe on my skin I can smell toillet fresh 🙄 I should test more before buy 100 ml botel any idea wchich perfume I can layered this ?????
Oh, and one question. Not sure if they even make it anymore. But I used to love, love Lagerfeld. It was for men, but I wore it and always had such great compliments.
Welcome back! No need to apologize for "unplugging"! That is the funny thing about these new media: they went from novelty, to convenience, to contributing to the world, ... to purposefully trying to steal attention, encouraging addiction. They have become so "convenient" that people feel pressured to apologize for not partaking, which is absurd. Great review!
Thanks for this in-depth review Dacob! I typically HATE "fresh/fruity" fragrances (I typically wear Coco (the original), Black Orchid edp, or Ambre Nuit, etc, etc) but I adore this new edp iteration. Whenever I want to feel soft, clean and playful I spritz on some of this pink juice!
Testered Armani Code Cashmere today. Opening is very purple to me (almost Bubble Yum grape!) but dies away very fast on my skin and remaining is what to me is a boring basic “table pepper” that is in many fragrances including YSL Black Opium and the new Viktor & Rolf Bonbon. Ulta still did not have eau tendre edp today so I continue to wait to get my nose on it. I just feel sure I will buy it when my edt runs out, though I feel a little sad that it has rose, which I was trying to get away from a little.
Elegance (and good manners) is (are) the opposite of vulgarity...not luxury...In my opinion, Dacob. Luxus has something to do with spoiling our 5 senses...with enjoying... Not necessary things for living but just to enjoy...Thatswhy art is also "luxury"...good music, good sculpture, good film...spoil our senses....also the nature is "luxury"...biggest luxury maybe...spoiling all our senses.. also a massage, nice bedsheets, a thermal swimmingpool or good food can be also a luxury to stimulate our senses... Thanks for sharing videos. I enjoy them very much! 😙😍 I believe that you see the "art" in chanel or perfumes or designers designs..Wish you a year in which you enjoy, spoil all your senses! Enjoying is luxury! Feeling alive..developing sophisticated taste...
I definitely prefer the edt 💖 my favorite! Update : got edp as well 😊 because it's my favorite perfume at the moment! Have been using 2 weeks already nonstop
i love how you describe this perfume..im contemplating on buying this or the original Chanel Chance EDP. now i must try this at Sephora.. thank u 😊.new subbie here. i love love ur content
My husband bought me a bottle of Chance parfum on our honeymoon cruise back in 2009. Since then, I have used up that first bottle and two more. I ❤️❤️❤️ this scent. Good video.
I have recently purchased Chanel Chance Eau tendre, eau de parfam 100ml . The smell is divine and such a sophisticated floral but after spending so much the perfume hardly stays. I can smell it for an hour or two but after that, I cannot. Is it the same for you guys too ?
Lmao!! Came for eau Tendre review, stayed for the rant because I agree! I love eau Tendre I would like to own a bottle someday. I own Alien by Mugler, but it’s too strong for summertime, so i can’t wear it right now. What do you think of Alien?
Because of your channel and because of my own nose, I may stop buying perfumes from other makers. Chanel from the start stole my heart and is the only brand that keeps it. I have 100s of perfumes and they come and go or just stay untouched after a few uses. I just bought some samples of this and haven’t received them yet. I look forward to it. I have samples of the edt and while nice won’t likely be purchasing it. It is nice, but I am excited by the sound of the EDP. It may replace my summer favorite of Roses De Chloe because it was discontinued. After that one I stopped loving the regular Chloe as much. To get the scent now I put one spray of Bvlgari Rose Goldea on my chest and then Chloe at my pulse points. Nice, but Chanel will likely give me more thrill. Chanel usually does. I think it will be more versatile too because of the warmth and coolness of the notes. Chloe is chilly on me. I run hot too!
One exception to my new (for now) rule about buying only Chanel is Hermes Caleche. On me it is clean and soft and it is perfect for a hot humid day because it cools me so. But it does not smell too astringent like I am starting to find Chloe. Yummy at certain times. Strangely good at a baseball game because there is a very slight outdoorsy feel for a pretty normally inside and out of the heat kind of person I am. I do not like the parfum, because it does not wear as clean on me and that is what I like best for hot sticky summer. I will always repurchase Caleche. Most everything else can be one and done.
I must own both eau tendre and Coco Mademoiselle, but first I preferred “fresh” eau tendre to “creamy” Coco Mademoiselle. But I can’t forget that wonderful light creaminess of Coco Mademoiselle. I’ve been seeking a more purple, juicy, fragrance for weekends. Versace Dylan Blue is close… played with the Dior Poisons… Armani Code… Chance eau vive… So interesting what you said about purple on this edp. For now it is YSL Mon Paris for me. You say, very well, what many of us are feeling, just reaching the edge of not being able to stand it anymore. You understand our culture. I hope change will eventually come, but my faith is not in humanity. Oh! But the cold/hot winter thing you described I swear I was just saying all of that to myself while driving in to work THIS morning! I look forward to spring with eau tendre but I love it for winter to feel cool while indoors. It is good to see you again. Happy New Year, Dacob. I hope it is good for you.
Happy New Year dear! I think the first POISON is the most purple fragrance... deep purple... almost black! And Eau Tendre EDP is a lighter hue of purple. Social media culture is a mess of epic proportions on so many levels... from politicians using it for all the wrong reasons to wannabes trolling whoever they feel has in any way something intelligent to say... Its a society where the ignorant feel they can shoot down whoever they feel threatened by... and they do feel threatened by everybody... thats the tragedy of it all... xoxo
No plans as of now. I think Eau Fraiche is not the best selling perfume so CHANEL is very cautious about expanding the Eau Fraiche range and concentrations.
Showed up through my algorithm. Why not? In honor of the music box I’m looking forward to receiving from my SA. Loving the vulgarity reference. Have toned down the shade lately?
Hi,new subscriber here! I’m on my 2nd bottle since Oct of last year My question is,why does it seem to lose its scent? Is it my nose getting accustomed to the scent or just fading away. Chanel Chance Tendre is one of my faves and hate to think that my bodies chems are shooting it down. If so,I’ll bathe in it lol. Btw it’s Kartrashians 🤮😂 Love this review!
Thank you for subscribing :) Yes, the body gets used to the perfume and hence you do not smell it as much on yourself anymore but others still smell it on you just the same as before. Thats why it is also good to have several perfumes on rotation in order to keep the body guessing and always on alert so that it keeps sensing the scents. xoxo
Super Dacob I’ve stopped using it for a 2 wks. Used it yesterday and it smelled so good all thru the day, I used some Marc Jacobs scents during that time and boy did I miss those scents. My body most have been accustomed to them also. Thank you for the advice. Now I know how to use my scents the right way!

I love your reviews. I don't like Edt because it is soft on my skin. I will like to buy Edp.
Thank you so much dear.🤗
Thank you Rosy :) I hope you enjoy the edp. Some people have reported that it lasts short on their skin but on me it has a decent longevity.
Of course I think I mixed up the notes with the new Les Exclusifs fragrance which sounds dreadful.
Thank you Debbie dear! Oh yes! I have had it!!! Oficially!!! hahah! Like Detox would say... ;) xoxo
Hi , your jacket looks so nice and cozy ! I think I might try this one next month.
Thank you Amira! Its a super cozy Jacket :) xoxo
Thank you Annette! xoxo
Good speech:)! Totally agree with it. Im in my late thirties and now i have my first chanel in my life. I guess i ve just started to like it /only Chance and Coco noir and Allure/. I am wise enough for luxury now maybe. ;)
You said EDP reminds you of classic 80s perfumes. Does that mean it smells dated?
A young lady at work had this on & me being me I approached her and asked what it was. It was a soft beautiful scent, soooooo. I'm giving it as a Valentines day gift! Great review and by the way I am subscribing ❤😊
Thank you for subscribing to my channel Carlos S! If you need to pick 3 or 5 fragrance from chanel house what would it be?
Thank you an advance!
Chance au tendre, n5 l'eau and coco mademoiselle intense!! 😍😍😘😘
You know what eau tendre smells like? IT SMELLS LIKE LIFE. LOVE. BEAUTY AND MONEY AND FUN AND JOY AND YOUTH. IT SMELLS LIKE MEEEEEEE!

Brilliant video!! Absolutely couldn’t agree more. The kardashian rant lolllll
Thank you :) xoxo
Oh, and one question. Not sure if they even make it anymore. But I used to love, love Lagerfeld. It was for men, but I wore it and always had such great compliments.
Really love that jacket, the cuffs!
Thank you. Vivienne Westwood makes the best clothes. You would look stunning in her evening dresses 😍
Thanks a lot for the video. As a Chanel counter manager in South Africa I’m happy to get a preview of the juice. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Sthe! xoxo
Thank you for this review. I really enjoy watching your videos, you are inspiring on so many levels.
Thank you so much :) xoxo
Welcome back! No need to apologize for "unplugging"! That is the funny thing about these new media: they went from novelty, to convenience, to contributing to the world, ... to purposefully trying to steal attention, encouraging addiction. They have become so "convenient" that people feel pressured to apologize for not partaking, which is absurd.
Great review!
Thank you dear! xoxo
Thank you Luna! Wishing you also all the best in 2019! Feeling alive is the greatest achievement I think we can strive towards :) xoxo
Thank you for your wonderful review. You are very sunny person 😍
OMG you're almost at 50k woo hoo. i just ordered chance eau de tendre edt today. yay.
Yesss 🥰🥰🥰 we are getting super close to 50k 🥰🥰🥰
Great review!! Chanel Chance Eau Tendre is my signature scent. I’d like to ask you EDP has better longevity than edt?
Thank you! It does not necessarily have better longevity. its just a bit deeper and wider in its scent nuances.
I definitely prefer the edt 💖 my favorite!
Update : got edp as well 😊 because it's my favorite perfume at the moment! Have been using 2 weeks already nonstop
Does it last?
@@dinamadrid1654 yes about 3-5 hours
@@dinamadrid1654 I have been using edp version of it quite a bit since it got cooler outside
You are absolutely amazing! Thank you for your videos!!!!

Welcome back Dacob Enjoyed the video as usual I like the way you thinking! Much love !
XOXO
Thank you semra dear! xoxo
"Luxury just for the sake of luxury" I love that!
I love the way you think dacob, i listened to every words you said 👊🏻
Thank you Andrea :) xoxo
Hello happy new year...sorry for my inglish when i can buy edp in france???
Whats the best?edt or edp?i dont understand inglish very well...thank you
Happy New Year! You can already purchase Eau Tendre EDP in France in CHANEL Beaute boutiques as well as online on the CHANEL french website. xoxo
Great review and commentary on social media!
Thank you Wild Flowers!
Beautiful eyebrows and great review. Happy New year.
Thank you! Happy New Year! xoxo
Really enjoy your reviews ❤️
Thank you Farah! xoxo
Love the review, I think I may want to buy this one
Thank you dear :) xoxo
Would you spritz this perfume in Spring and Summer? Or do you prefer the toilette?
Hey Dacob is good to see you again 😉 ..The Chanel luxurious Boy 😘
Its a society where the ignorant feel they can shoot down whoever they feel threatened by... and they do feel threatened by everybody... thats the tragedy of it all... xoxo
Love love loooooved the video Dacob!!! Happy new year ❤️
Thank you! Happy New Year!
To me the chanel chance eau toilett smells powdery
Welcome back! Love your videos about Chanel. And I support you about gender in Parfum world)💭
Thank you so much! :) xoxo
Missing you boo....so happy to see you ....Happy new year....xoxo
Aww! Missed you too Johnny! Happy New Year! xoxo
Love your rant and I couldn’t agree with you more. We have to filter out all the crap nowadays. It’s so exhausting.
So true! The filtering of all the crap truly is so exhausting! It really takes all the energy away from us! xoxo
I was a kid in the 80s. I would go back like a shot. Wonderful times..unlike now
Thank you!! I totally agree..
Thank you :)
Do you think Chanel is going to release Eau Fraiche in the edp concentration?Any spoilers from the sales associates?😎
No plans as of now. I think Eau Fraiche is not the best selling perfume so CHANEL is very cautious about expanding the Eau Fraiche range and concentrations.
What is the price and from where I can buy in Melbourne in Australia
Ok I love you, I love your review and I love the way you think. Love you!!!! 💖
Wish I had the balls to wear this.. I really like it.. Maybe I can layer it with TdH..
Wait why wouldn't you dare to wear it?? I'm just wondering cuz I just bought it!!
@@ebbaegnell3899 coz I'm a guy
Which one do you prefer, edp or edt? Thanks for video :)
I like both. Edt perhaps more for warmer months and edp more for colder months. xoxo
I enjoyed your review! I am going to test it tomorrow actually! Thank you! I agree with you about all the BS in fragrance videos!
Hope it is not similar to Dior Joy...
Thanks Gail! No, it is not like Dior Joy! Eau Tendre EDP is more honest in a way. It is not pretentious (which is what I feel Joy kind of is). xoxo
Showed up through my algorithm. Why not? In honor of the music box I’m looking forward to receiving from my SA. Loving the vulgarity reference. Have toned down the shade lately?
Glad your SA got you one 😆
Great review
Thank you :) xoxo
I have edt and it is very soft, it doesnt last on my skyn, I' am to try edp, greetings !
The EDP will not necessarily last longer than the EDT... so do not blind buy it... try it on first and see how long it lasts on your skin. xoxo
Dacob, you are so right!
Thank you! xoxo
In the middle east where i am theres no such thing as feminine only being for women. Men here also wear Rose and all kinds of florals
So which One last longer ?
I love the scent, but longevity (on my skin) is very poor. I get 2-3 hours, and then it's gone.
