NO DOWN STOP on the shock, and it broke the shaft, right above the eyelet. Need a larger shaft shock if you are running a single front.
Good shake down. Looks like the limit straps were too long.
Well the wrong length vs. Mounting fiction was done.. this is why u felt like it was bouncey or tight.

Shock shafts break because either they're cycling wrong up and down (geometry) or they hydrolock. Either the limit strap is to long, or oil got on the backside of the resvoir piston and caused the whole shock to lock when it compressed breaking the shaft. Watching the video the car did look really stiff.
Easy fix though, glad you found a nice pair of Fox's.
