@@Lonwolf.Well think it may be a bit premature to release Pride wallpapers since the actual celebration begins in June, Pride Month which commemorates the Stonewall riots of 1969 by NYC LGBT activists when the Stonewall Inn a gay bar was raided by police.

How about a couple different wallpapers for kids to pick from. I mean, everyone gets the new pride wallpapers just seems like an agenda being pushed. And the funny thing is the pride wallpapers are the coolest wallpapers that are on the iPhone right now. Or maybe give us an option to edit the text.

turn off all background apps and data permissions and then try uninstalling and reinstalling google apps and then you will find a significant change. Google should get caught for their purposeful useless resource usage.
It’s usually the way you use and/or charge your iPhone that’s the problem.
Battery drain could be due to an app that you use. Blaming Apple is not helpful.

I’m a man of simple needs, I just want battery health on iPadOS.

I’ll give the update a week or so, because battery life and health is pretty important to me.
Does this update help with storage? A lot of apps are taking up almost 300MBs of space on my iPhone 14

I think I’ll leave the update for now on my iPhone 14, heard some stories about bad battery life on iOS 17.5 so I’ll hold on for a bit longer.

I’m not updating to any iOS version until iOS 18 official release I have had enough,who remembers the keyboard lag bug,it back on 17.4.1,why should we have to go thru this hell.Give people better updates you are here talking about pride wallpaper like WTF?
The final versions of iOS 17 will be far more stable than the first versions of iOS 18. This is the time when iOS 17 starts to mature since all major features have been released. Also, Apple releases pride wallpapers every year for June, they don't really have a choice in the timing of that. They were the first big company to have an openly gay CEO so I can't imagine them not celebrating pride month.
It's 2024 Apple, can we I don't know, have split screen?

I enjoy your updates Aaron. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I've seen videos where the connection speed is better on 4.1 than 5.1. This was back when the RC was coming out. Has that been improved in the public release?

Is it affecting battery health negatively? I’m on 17.4 using ProMax 15.
i already updated my 15pmax, still at 100% with 95 cycle count.

@@Je-rb7je I can’t speak on it from personal history, but most people get 140-170 cycles before it starts going down. Yeah, I’d say it’s definitely not good.

Waiting to see your update after a few days. A few others I follow have stated WiFi is quite buggy (disconnects, slow speeds, etc). Curious as to your thoughts.
I was on the 17.5 dev betas, including the RC that is now the public version. And have a lot of network issues, not just WiFi. Suddenly it also heats up and drops a few %, while the network connection is lost - only to suddenly start working again a bit later.

My battery life is pretty good as long as I’m not using the gps or location services. I worked a 12 hour shift and streamed Netflix and HBO max all day and still made it home with about 15% of power left. This includes running Bluetooth headphones the whole time. I did have a couple of times where I was multitasking while streaming videos and it got hotter than usual but no issues here. iPhone 12 pro max running 17.5 beta

Don't update your 12 if you don't wanna get a new phone I'm on 17.3 using 12 pro everything works perfectly fine on my 14pro l was on 17.4 version suddenly my phone screen went green l had to dump it and pick up my 12pro stay calm do not be in a hurry to update your iPhones apple knows what they doing

I would never rock a pride wallpaper or pride anything. Apple wake up and make regular wallpapers that are interesting. Not community specific.

Hopefully the 16 Pros are gonna have better battery life and software stability like the 13 Pros had due to N3E node and iOS 18. Currently planning to upgrade from my 14 Pro with 88%.

On iOS 17.4.1 mi iPhone (15 pro) gets really hot while doing basic things like scrolling through twitter or instagram after a few minutes. Does this update fixes that? It didn’t happened before and it’s very annoying

I’ll take Apple’s word for it that the security features are a plus. That said, some of the other features are rather silly considering their consumption of space.
Every year as we get closer to the next major version update we see less and less features.
