I have to get my fiancé over from the Philippines and get married before leaving the USA, but Thailand is absolutely our plan! I'm looking at likely a year or so, have no degrees, or experience in online work. I've done only physical jobs all my life. I do have extensive experience in maintenance and apartments, maybe I could find a foreigner looking for a manager/maintenance person to care for his/her property(s).

brilliant, just what I've been looking for. I can't believe how large the space is for the price. I pay double that for a room that is a large walk in robe in a shitty second world country filthy house in Melbourne.

Having Lived in a shop house the upstairs was very hot so the upstairs apartment would be much hotter. The price is good for a Tourist location.

Isn't the Kathu to Patong road closed for the foreseeable future? It seems to have collapsed.
It was closed a couple of days ago after landslide yes. Suspect they will re-open soon, will go check it out today.

What an odd layout
Pretty much all houses in Thailand and many apartments and condos have very odd layouts, They will typically have a lot of space where it in not needed and serves no purpose and not enough space where it is needed. It just a very inefficient use of space, In fact, its almost as if the people who designed them had no formal architectural training whatsoever.
You would think a RUclipsr would know how to record in a manner that isn’t a mirror image
