Very cool.. nice to see other people keeping these gems alive
This is genius way to remove CDI magneto and other similar parts 👍
Thanks man I can’t be buying the ‘correct’ tool for everything otherwise I’d never get the job done 🤪
This fall, I'm doing a Malossi 70cc upgrade to my '01 Vespa ET2. Great job, dude...and your flywheel removal hack was crackin'!
@@victorhawkins3461 ahh thanks Victor much appreciated. Good luck with the build 😎
thanks for uploading i enjoyed watching you assembling the scooter
yasuni c16 exhaust is beautiful
Can’t wait for the next one 🤙
Wicked video man... glad I found your channel! I have had a selection of Jogs and Aerox's over the years. After a 5 year break I have just gone and bought a Neos 100, got the bug back already lol
Thanks man 👍
great video and sick scooter
Very Well build 👏. Thank you for this Video 😊. Cheers
Thank you much appreciated!
Finally:) the peds :) wicked love these vids:)
Well done good
Job
Seen a 1989 Jog on fb similar condition, I’m really wanting to do a 70’s kit on it after see this. Although i been looking everywhere for a honda elite sr 50 to do up but impossible to find.
Very nice video thank you! I have 1999 3kj vino, thinking about putting 65cc in it
Now i run stock air cooled 49cc. Front and rear cvt sheaves are from newer Jog sa36, they fit just right in, only you have to leave old front roller plate to fit on 3kj crankshaft. Front fork, brakes and wheel are all from sa36 jog, had to adjust handlebar mount place a little, the fork fitted just right in frame and is very comfortable to ride with. 36's speedo cable also fits. Front brakes on 36 are 110mm instead of 95mm stock, so they work better, and they are same size now as rear ones. I installed blue 1500rpm spring in rear transmission sheave and left stock 36's rollers (5g each). Belt is Bando 792*18mm, very good quality, they last long. Scooter has good torque now and goes uphill fast, there are very much hills in Armenia. Exhaust is Lipai, something taiwanese, also works good. Also transferred battery to seat, so it doesn't stay horizontally like stock one. Maybe will add some led lights to speedometer and fuel meter :)
@@vladislavkoval2018 great stuff I’m glad it’s inspired you mate!
see how they do it in denmark, absolutly insane
I just picked up a complete black artistic for 150. Where did you get the tuning parts for these jogs please buddy ?
Nice to see another jog saved 👌. Seen as you went to the trouble of splitting the cases etc, why not just go all out and convert to water cooled? They’re so easy to convert, also in the early noughties there was a front panel made for these with twin headlights that could be modified with the lights cut out and mesh in their place which gave perfect place for a rad to be mounted, Aerox or aprilia sonic rads are perfect for these too.
Sounds interesting I didn’t think about water cooling it.. suppose I just kept it basic. Any links or more info on the headlight and rad? Cheers
My reply didn’t seem to post 🤦♂️. If you Google “job Antigua bifaro” that’ll give you pics of the panel I’m on about you’d be hard pressed to get hold of one in the uk, spains the best bet if you can find one. As for rad any aerox rad from the noughties will work along with the aerox hoses and water pump which will bolt straight up to your engine cases.
Another great things with those jogs is how great they are as little wheelie machines 😂. I used to have a 2003 one which had the twin seat and a chrome spoiler type thing from factory, derestricted that thing loved being on the back wheel 😂.
@@user-pf5xj8zk6f thanks man will check it out. I suppose I could always buy an Aerox and use it as a donor bike. I did think before that surely it must fit as essentially it’s the same cases.. this just confirms it 👍
@@retrosmokeno worries pal. The only differences between your Jog cases and an aerox is the water cooling, and the aerox cases being a tad longer on the final drive side and set up for disc instead of drum, the flywheel side of the case is identical on both engines hence why an air cooled can be converted so easily. I grew up in Spain from the age of 14 you can ride a 50 over there so had a fair few jogs and aeroxs, such easy engines to work on and performance upgrade market is huge for them! My last one was a full metrakit pro race build with pvl internal rotor, 30mm keihin flat side carb etc etc thing was a little rocket!!
ring gap=.02mm or get lucky ?
I'm looking to put a 70cc kit in my 06 yamaha jog r I am looking some pointers on how to go about this I'm just wondering what should upgrade to because everything is stock becides the exhust which is a tecnigass race pipe I also have a 61 jet in my carb and I'm wondering if I need to upgrade the carb or just the jet thank you
try several size of jet but deffinitly yes, you'll have to re-jet with a 70cc kit. It displace more air so it need more fuel
Good work man! Instead of the Gear for electric starter what you put on the crank?
Thanks! The stage6 variator came with a longer boss to compensate for the removed electric starter gear. Hope this helps 👍
If a variator doesn’t come with a longer boss a washer of the same thickness can be used in place of the starter gear.
How did you fit the bearings and pipe from the engine mount on the engine
I froze both bearings, I’ve fitted one bearing with the tube inside of it put both circlips on the tube, then fitted the second bearing and heated up the inside, then knocked the tube through until the circlips locked into position if that makes sense! Cheers
if you find a exhaust like this for the vision can you tell me?
Sure!
Are the Honda Visions tuneable?.
If it’s got the af05 engine not really
Yo what size are the brake shoes (back)
110mm
what jet size did you put ?
I talk about the carbs and jetting in the vid
Подскажите пожалуйста что это за версия артистка? Почему у него поворотники и стоп сигнал вынесены далеко назад?
It’s a UK spec one so has indicators and brake lights on the rear rack.
Главное не осуществлять сборку мотора по его методу.
@@lordx4542 show me how it’s done then professional?
Parts available Yamaha jog27v?
Not so sure !
How does the legality of all this work over there? In my country mopeds 50cc are limited by law to 45km/h and thus if you ride a faster moped its illegal immediately. Do they say anything about the obvious Yasuni slapped on there for example? Or would the cops say anything if they stopped you? Great build 2strokes are best.
Thanks man appreciate it. It’s all good as long as your vehicle is roadworthy, passes its MOT and insurance is notified of the modifications. Exhausts have to have a CE mark here for road use or you can get fined etc. where you from?
@@retrosmoke Ok thats cool cause I might be moving to UK and for sure would love do a lil tuning project. Finland. Here there is a super rich 2 stroke tuning culture and a lot of knowledge especially on moped tuning but unfortunately it is all illegal, so even though I have a 1200cc bike I can not have, say, a 70cc scooter legally. Might buy a 125cc since they are not restricted in speed thus nobody checks the cylinder head for markings etc. The silver lining, however, is that there is no MOT here for any bikes, but the police stop mopeds all the time and test their top speed. I had a nice slightly tuned Yamaha DT 50cc with a switch that would limit speed to 45km/h, so when the cops tried it they didn't notice anything.
Was this bike just sold on ebay
No? I’ve owned this about a year and a half
nope!
Why air-cooled? It's half the power of a liquid cooled, if your looking to tune, surely you start with a good doner bike
from factory this was ac. wanted to keep it simple. less is more
These older jogs de restricted is just as powerful as an aerox because of power to weight ratio
Done this on a piaggio et2 rat look but it goes for a '50'😂
Love that! Haha
