We love watching your videos, man! Thanks once again for the shoutout! Definitely very entertaining to watch! Good thing you went with the bigger carb, the Stage6 one is not gonna disappoint you! Just one thing I noticed: Make sure to mount the control unit of the ignition one some kind of rubber base. The area where you mounted it receives alot of vibration from the engine and these units often break because of that. Just put a piece of rubber unterneath it and you're safe! Cheers!
@@MOPBOYZAny idea as to how long a battery will last? anyone who's had an alternator go out on them knows the perils of this setup! also, because those tool batteries are lithium Ion cells, you shouldn't run their charge lower than 20% if you run them down lower than that too often they can lose overall charge capacity. Just don't want you to get stranded or have one of those makita batteries flame out on ya!
Nice clean wiring and clean build! The Stage6 Paddock stand is perfekt to your project! Good Carb, i cant wait to see the first run 🔥 Greetings from germany 🍻🍻🍻 Flo
one of the best carbs on the market defenitly perfect for ur setup, some ppl use a 28mm but on a higher reving exhaust not on r1200 this is gonna be a beast cant wait to see the finished project
Man this build is coming along nicely cant wait to see it all put together and mobbin...built motor would be a sweet giveaway or do a bike build for a giveaway would be sweet keep it up trev
i hope this build never ends its so cool watching you build such crazy things love the makita battery setup. I have a typhoon 50cc ac and i had an opportunity to buy a 180 lc motor but i wouldnt know how to set it up so i just put a 70kit on it
I think a digital gauge would really finish the build. Some F12’s (spectrum) came with the digital cockpit. Don’t know if they have ever been imported into America in that configuration though.
hey man, im from italy and i know abt scooters and your build is fire, i suggest for the front a stage6 front, its a little bit prizy but its worth the money, for the shock put a strong one, the more is stiff more it handle good whene you weelie, sorry for the bad english
Why didn't you use std water pump? Does it not pump enough? Because you have the drive adapter fitted. Also for the gauge, a short piece of plastic pipe would have been easier. I love these videos, I can watch what I always wanted to do with my benelli 491 lc.
Man this is looking nice 👌🏻 these things and the parts are pretty easy to find here in the U.K. but what I wouldn’t give for a Zuma 😍 Or BWS as we call em’ Me and my girlfriend at the time had one each when we where 16 ( 30 years ago now 😬) they both got stolen and set fire to, and I’ve always wanted to get another it’s really hard to find a decent one for less than £1500 now over here as they’ve all been upgraded already and I want bone stock Had to settle for an aero 50 ( vision ), it’s fun and nearly finished- but no BWS ! got my eyes on a couple of cheap stock Elites ( vision met-ins ) for my next project but it seems we didn’t get as many choices of models over here either, they all seem to be 1990 vintage and in the most drab livery 😂 Really look forward to your videos man, inspiring stuff 👍🏼💥🛵
love ur scooter videos man, greetings from Cologne, Germany. Love the F12, would love to get one aswell. Sadly - scooter tuning in Germany is highly illegal -.-
Nice work and I hope that you guys could help me out with some information on my best hope for suicide prevention see I think that moter scooter s /bikes are some thing like a way of life and I'm going to need some help with getting it down and I just want to say I am a fan
lucky bro here in slovenia nothings legal, u have an exhuast u need to have a permit for it and a permit so u can have it on your scooter. You literally pay more for permits than for the exhuast.@@MOPBOYZ
On the stock cylinder, you can get about 72kph (45mph) tops, with the bike derestricted and a bunch of CVT work. The factory speedometer is generous and reads faster than you actually go by about 5mph, always go by GPS to get an accurate speed. You need an unrestricted CDI (higher rev limit, not no rev limit) Sometimes you can cut the CDI box to raise the limiter, but it depends on the model year, or you can just buy an unrestricted CDI. You will need a Polini variator kit, it comes with a variator boss without a shoulder. you'll also need different rollers (I suggest somewhere between 6 and 5 gram rollers) an NCY rear pulley using the pins in the steeper-angled slots. A stiffer contra spring will help, the stock clutch springs are okay, and you only need to swap them if you need to change clutch engagement. you also need to upjet the carb. If you want more than what the stock cylinder can do you need a Big Bore kit (anything bigger than 72cc/47mm will require some case boring to fit) and gears, etc. I learned this the hard way. 4-strokes are not as easy to get more power out of them as 2-stroke. if you want to go faster, you need more displacement and different gearing in the final drive.
@@aws423 jetting is different in every situation, changes on specific cylinder and carb size, also the air density and elevation on where you live. you’d have to tune to your specific setup
I tried just using a battery for lights and ended up running out of lights halfway home in the dark and the electric water pumps will use a lot of power. Really better using engine driven pump. Also shouldn't which way does the water go? Out of the head? Wouldn't it be better for hot water to enter bottom of the radiators and up out of the top? The flow may be more as the hot water wants to rise.....old cars had no water pump and just used convection this way.😎🦫🦓
yall wanted a liquid cooled build and an inner rotor ignition right? 😈

exactly! thanks man

not even in italy ppl do builds this clean, u keep it streetable instead of making it an under powered racing bike made only for the track
Come to Holland!

Wire the waterpump to a switch so you can turn of the pump when starting and then later turn it on when the temp rises. Quicker warmup.
Maybe try some thicker weight fork oil if u can't find aftermarket forks.

iam glad you are converting it to double seat you should also convert it to rear disc brake support from bosnia 🇧🇦💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Bro your setup is wicked 🔥 this the last thing I need I still run the regular magneto
Nice one! Now the tedious proces of adjusting everything begins. So many variables and the carb may not be the easiest to setup right.
We have a very similar setup. Currently does low 11s on the 1/8 mile.
Dude!! Putting in that work!

Why don’t you use a crank water pump?
- love the build!
4:43 where did you buy that air leak tester? I need to know!😁
i made it from parts at local hardware store
For the 2 seats you have to buy another seat for 2 seats, i have a Phantom F12 too and i had the same procedure (Sorry for the english)
i have the other seat! and new panel just need the grab bars

Hell yeah 👌👌
In regards to the new temp gauge couldn’t you butcher the original guage and use the bezel so it still matches the rest of the cluster? 2:41
i don’t want to ruin any stock parts , rather make it where i could put it all back to stock if i want
Try to find carb over rear wheel subframe and stage6 r/t intake
Hi! What kind of pressure gauge did you use, because i do want to check for leak on my motor. Thanks!
I’m about to install this on my 2008 zuma what micro meter gauge did you use?. I also have a stage6 cylinder
Can you talk about removing the plastic
Would be different if you build up a maddog chuckus like you do all your bikes.

Hollow the factory gauge and set your new gauge inside the old gauge?
i don’t want to ruin the stock parts. rather keep them incase i want to reinstall
is it legal to tune your moped that much in the USA?
You can put the oem F12 L.C plastic behind the radiators to keep the original look instade drilin the A.C one 🙄
send me a lc plastic !
Love the f12, you should also build a aprilia sr50 di-tech and do a carb conversion and everything
Sweet
aren't you loosing helmet storage space with the battery mounted there?
yes but who cares when you’re building a race bike lol
Dang son
Do a Yamaha aerox 70cc build,greetings from Suriname 👋
you should just put stiffer fork fluid in the forks so they wont bounce so mutch.
the seals are all bad as well
powder coat the wheels white would be sick
