I made something very similar for my lunch 2 times this week! I just laughed watching this...too funny. I used Steelhead trout, pan fried, and tried to use mostly herbs and veggies from my spring garden which included sauteed asparagus, baby spinach, onion chives, italian parsley, watercress, garlic, and the carb was cannellinni beans (one time) and angel hair pasta (the other time), topped with parm cheese..

This is literally my favorite meal. I fell in love with couscous and fish after a perfect lunch a few years back at the Blue Salt Fish Grill in Redondo Beach, CA. I think you'd like that place, there spiced veg couscous is still the best I have ever had.

I always cut the salmon skin off, and fry it on its own. It's almost better then bacon! Also, finely chop your tomatoes on a plastic board, or a plate. Wooden boards tend to suck up all those nice juices.
Maxwell A That is a really bad idea. If you leave a wood cutting board under water for too long, it will cause it to lose all its natural oils, meaning it will crack once it dries.

got a question why are you using teflon pan instead of using steel pan? and say if are we gonna use steel pan for salmon, what would it be the heat? medium or high (with oil) thank you and you are great :D
