Having grown up across 56th Ave from this all my life, all I can say is that it all makes a lot of sense now. About why primarily minority groups have always been steered towards Montbello, which coincidentally began development in 1966. The land is toxic as hell. Well alrighty, that sums it up. Got it now. Thanks for the upload.

Toxic land is probably cheaper. Minorities (except Asians) are poorer.

Well not now. Brand new houses butt up against the Aresnal. I can only imagine what these house cost now. I wouldn't live anywhere near it.

I hike here couple times a month. I'm still waiting for my tail to start growing. It's an amazing place.

They are still building half a million dollar town homes there, remove the fencing and give them permission to build they will put up shops and more condos on that contaminated land of where that factory once stood, and people will still take out half a million dollars to live there.

I visited the Arsenal about 6 years ago while on vacation. I thought about how much stuff was illegally buried by the government the years

There are now neighborhoods right next to the arsenal like you can throw a rock and it will land in the arsenal. You have to have something wrong with you to know that is right next to you and then buy a house right there lol

I doubt the people who live there even care. It's more important to say you live in Denver than to worry about your health...

I surprised I don’t have a third eye living between rocky flats and Rocky Mountain arsenal. Why in Colorado? They should’ve dedicated Nebraska or some wasteland in a New Mexico desert for this shit!

Because they needed a workforce/ labor and Denver had that. Also needed an airport nearby and Denver also had that.
