As a white conservative metalhead from Atlanta GA, I wholeheartedly agree with T.I. I remember when I was probably 8ish years old living in a neighborhood in a little town outside of Atlanta called Rex, I was outside playing and noticed this odd looking dude walking by my house pushing a stroller that was dressed in a way you don't normally see in that part of town. He kept looking at me I guess waiting for a reaction. I didn't realize who it was because I'd never seen Andre at that point in time but was certainly familiar with OutKasts music. Later that day my friend were freaking out saying OutKast was in the neighborhood. Turns out his grandma lived a few doors down from me haha so we went over and met them. I'm now 31 and still remember that like it was yesterday. OutKast are by far the kings of Atlanta hip-hop, T.I is certainly a close 2nd though. I used to do work in his neighborhood.
